My first experience was honestly disappointing. The food was decent, but there were several other issues that affected the overall experience.
Food: I would have rated the food 4 stars if I hadnât ordered the sashimi. The sashimi was fresh, but it wasnât cold enough, which felt risky to me. There wasnât enough ice, and it melted quickly before we could even finish the dish. From a food safety perspective, this was quite concerning. The other dishes were fine. The maki was really good and I highly recommend it. The tempura was well-executed and very crispy. Miso soup was a bit salty, but the edamame was soft and tasty.
Space and service: The ground floor is quite small and best suited for groups of 4 to 5 people. The second floor has private rooms, but the ventilation was poor. There was only one air conditioner for the entire floor, and each room had tall partitions, which made it feel very stuffy. I had read quite a few reviews about the service here, and unfortunately, I had a similar experience. The staff were not very attentive. They didnât inform us when the final dish was served and didnât check how many wet towels we had used. There were 7 of us, but we were charged for 15 towels. My uncle didnât notice this when checking the bill. If the staff are serious about their work, this shouldnât happen.
That being said, this place is still worth trying if youâre a fan of maki. Just be cautious with the sashimi, pay attention to the staffâs attitude, and double-check your bill before paying.
I hope the restaurant can improve, as Iâve seen several other reviews with similar...

Read moreThis place is over-rated. Several times they made mistakes and I try to make them right, but they don't listen. First I ordered drinks: beer and sake. They bring wrong beer and saying that they don't have what I ordered. Sake, I ordered small bottle, but it was in a bottle. The swordfish that I ordered was smell badly, it must be not very fresh. The soba and tempura I ordered, they don't give me tempura sauce. Despite I asked for tempura sauce, they said that I should use soba sauce, which has Wasabi. This store got low score because they do a lots of things wrong. I would not recommend this place and I won't go back. / Thank you very much for your responses. I like to emphasize that whatever happen to me, happen to me at this particular night at this establishment. This does not meant that general quality of this place in general, but whatever happened, happen that night. I am glad that you are proactively try to improve your quality of food/services....
