Madam Phuong — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Please do yourself a favor by NOT eating here. This is probably one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to by far. I’m not sure why this place has good ratings on google because the food quality was a 0/10. Everything comes out super fast and that’s because the food is not fresh and you can just tell it’s been sitting out for a long time. They most likely reheat the food in a microwave when an order comes in. Worst Bun Cha, Bánh Xeo, and fried rice we’ve ever had. They also smother all the meats and shrimp in some kind of barbecue sauce to mask the quality of the food in hopes that the customer won’t be able to tell if it’s fresh or not. Don’t waste your money - there are so many more authentic Vietnamese...

Don't trust the Video on Facebook or Instagram about this place. The Decoration is great but most of the food shown there is not available and what you eat is not worth it. The Morning Glory Rau Mung in Vietnamese was completely dure and full of oil. Not edible. The fried rice was full of fat and I had to cough it up all the time. Not to write home about. Finally the mesh in the lemon grass which is normally made of shrimp paste was lowclass porkmeat with some small carrots. I suppose an industrial made product that tasted like rubber. I came for the platter show. In the video with weaved rice to wrap shrimp paste in. Not available. Great Location but the food you can forget. Sad enough. They have mixed Fruit Smoothies....

The food and ambience was ok. I ordered the bun ca, which did not come with any condiments or herbs, which was a big red flag. The prices are quite high for such small portion sizes. After we finished the meal, we were asked to leave a review, in order to receive a free drink. Sure, why not. I was being kind and gave them 4 stars,even though realistically it was worth no more than 3. I showed the waiter my review, after which he told me I would not get the drink, unless I leave a 5 star review. Then it clicked why they have so many reviews and a pretty good rating. I said I would rather pay for my drink, than fake boost their rating. Definitely a tourist trap, would...
