Panama Nha Trang Hotel — Hotel in Nha Trang City

I came across Panama hotel in Nha trang when I was searching for a decent hotel to stay after my trip at Muine Bay resort. As usual, I will get to the point.||Facility and comfort: 8.0. I was impressed by the warm welcome the hotel gave to its customers. The check-in procedure was quick. My room was on the 6th floor (the hotel has 30 up to this time). It was nice and spacious with two huge single beds. In general, it had all accessories that fit a 5-star hotel. After quickly going through my room checklist, I went up to the 30th floor where a pool, a bar and a gym were located. Right after the elevator door opened, I was almost choked by the smoke coming from the pool and the bar. People, mostly Russian, just sat there and smoked even though there was a “no smoking” sign and an ashtray below it. The gym was behind the bar and had no door. That was bad because I could as well suck the smoke people exhaled while working out. Becoming a secondhand smoker was what I feared. I knew the hotel tried its best to please its customers. But the boundary of leniency must be considered. I already talked to a customer service representative and suggested the hotel should add a door to the gym. She apologized for that and promised me she would take it into consideration.||Cleanliness: 9/10. Everything was fine. The reason I did not give it a 10 was because the bathtub had the same problem as its counterpart at Muine Bay resort. Badly designed. When I took a shower, water came down the wall and found its way to the floor. Again, I could avoid that nuisance by turning my back against the curtain while showering.||Breakfast buffet: 10. The Costa restaurant was on the 3rd floor. Delicious. Multiple types of cuisines. Asian as well as western.||Staff: 10+. Exceptional. I called the front desk requesting a shower curtain replacement. The current one smelled pretty bad. They took care of that immediately.The young lady that took care of the smelled curtain apologized to me because she could not enter my room to hang up a fresh one while I was sleeping (I did question the front desk about that). That was my fault not hers. I felt so bad because I thought she might have been reprimanded for not fulfilling her duty. Please accept my apology.|Hung, the assistant manager at the Costa restaurant was very informative and helpful.|The staff, in general, was very friendly and professional.||Location: 10. Unbeatable. From there I could walk for just about 10 minutes to get to the beach. I could enjoy some specialties at restaurants nearby. And I could go across the street to shop if I wanted to.||Value for money: 10+. There was no doubt about that. ||In conclusion, Panama hotel is a decent place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay during the holiday season at Panama Nha Trang! This hotel has a great location right next to the beach of Nha Trang and is located in a predominant tourist area. They do a great job of welcoming you into the hotel and offering you a lemon tea as they check you in and bring your stuff up. Staff are very friendly as well. One thing that I did not anticipate and that I felt was not clearly expressed to me prior to booking was paying the $50/500k deposit. You do receive your money back upon check-out but that was an unexpected fee -especially when they only take cash. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and modern. The hotel has 30 floors with a great rooftop view on the top deck with pool, and a breakfast buffet on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was quite nice quite a variety of options including dim sum, freshly cooked brunch items, and classic Western breakfast items such as pancakes and eggs. The hotel caters to a lot of tour groups so you can expect busloads of tourists from overseas as well.I really appreciate the supportive staff when we visited. Unfortunately during our visit, we got scammed by the taxi drivers in the area and he was trying to get us to agree to a drive to the airport. The staff were incredibly supportive in helping us get away from him and we felt really protected from the upsetting experience. Panama Nha Trang Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Nha Trang. The hotel rooms are modern, spacious and clean, and the location is great - close to all amenities as well as the beach. Here, you will feel totally relaxed, comfortable and refreshed. The staff members are absolutely friendly and accomodating, offering you a hand from the moment you arrive to when you check out, with a smile on their face. There is a roof-top swimming pool on the 30th level which is spacious and has partial overhead cover. We enjoyed a great family time there in the pool, and when the rain happened to fall pouring down, it was actually fun and liberating. Also on this level, the hotel offers massage therapy services, for which we became repeated customers during our 3-night stay because these services were truly of high quality, yet more affordable than the options offered in the streets down below. What's more, the morning breakfast buffet that comes with your booking is more than decent, with a good variety of dishes and drinks. We have had a great experience with our stay here and will definitely pick Panama Nha Trang again if...
