SAHIN - Turkish Doner Kebab Ice cream-halal food — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

I recently revisited SAHIN Turkish restaurant and would like to share my experience. The main advantage of this place is the authenticity of their dishes, which makes perfect sense as both the owner and the chef are originally from Turkey. Their kebabs and doners are excellent, and their ayran is a real find – it’s rare to find this drink elsewhere in our city.

After a recent renovation, the interior has become more pleasant, though the main focus is still on the cuisine. I especially appreciate the staff’s responsiveness – they’ve prepared off-menu dishes for me several times. The only drawback was the lack of delivery service, but they’ve now addressed this issue as well.

Food: Chicken and beef kebab. Be sure to come early if you want the beef because beef is fast-selling! It tasted really good, and i can tell you it’s way better than the kebab i had in Malaysia. Why? Because the meat is properly prepped and cooked, and most importantly the bread isn’t the soggy type. Fits my taste and appetite well. Also, it’s HALAL.

Service: The service is really good, the owner is very friendly. Love how they just okay with us wanting to eat outside in front of their shop. Hahah

Atmosphere: Normal street in Nha Trang, busy road. But you can enjoy your good kebab and just let the people pass by. I don’t mind it because this is what Vietnam is.

The restaurant is average. They have tasty meat, not tough, well cooked. This is where the advantages end. The sauce is very tasteless, it's just local ketchup, not even chili sauce. The service is bad, I showed in Vietnamese and duplicated in English the request not to put onions, they put it in for me and then they just pulled it out, not all of it, but only on top - I ate meat soaked in onions. If this is not possible, you can say no and the visitor will order a different dish format. You can try it, it's edible, but it seems that all the praise is only because this is a rare halal...
