If you're running this hostel, take some time to check out hostels in other cities or countries. See how they keep their rooms tidy, fresh, and organized, even with 16 people in there. Remember to put yourself in the guest's shoes—everyone appreciates a bit of privacy, even when sharing a room with a bunch of strangers. Work with integrity and don’t rely on buzzers just to hand out high ratings that aren’t true. It can hurt a lot of people and ultimately isn't good for your business.
If you're a traveller and thinking about booking a stay at this hostel, just be sure to check out the ratings closely. There's a huge difference between the number of ratings and the actual score given.
Hostels are meant to be budget-friendly places to stay and hang out, giving guests some comfort while still keeping their privacy intact. It's all about respecting each other’s space and being cool with the other folks in the room. But this hostel really dropped the ball on it.
This hostel is really just all about its supporting facilities and entertainment. They’ve got a bar, pool tables, and a laid-back outdoor area, but completely ignores the cleanliness and order in the guest room.
Honestly, I've been visiting many cities in the world and this hostel should get the WORST rating. No idea why this place gets such great reviews.
At first, I sent a message via Agoda to be allowed to check in early. The receptionist was really nice and let me check in early since I just needed a quick spot to crash before heading to another city that night. I checked in at 12:30 PM and left by 9:15 PM the same day. But when I got to my room, my bed was still a total mess.
The bed comes without any curtains or cozy lighting. It’s all out in the open, with just one main light in the room. There’s zero privacy! How do people who struggle to sleep with bright lights deal with this?
There are no real rules in the room, so guests could drag in dirty and sandy shoes, wet clothes from sweat or sea water, food, and others smelly dirty stuffs which makes the place smell pretty bad—like a weird combo of nasty shoes and other strange odors. Even worse than a slum shelters !
The bathroom was awful and reminded me of a shelter. There's a towel mat in there, but it doesn't help at all. It just ends up making the floor dirty, muddy, and super slippery. I honestly felt like checking out right away because I wasn’t happy at all with what I paid even though I just needed it for like 9 hours.
The electrical stuff only works if you keep your card in, just like in any regular hotel. Even though this room was meant for eight random people, if someone wanted to leave, they’d have to get the others to switch the card, or else the power would just cut out. Can you picture being jolted awake by a random person just so they can swap out the power card when all you want is a solid night's sleep? Or how about waking up sweating because the AC is out since someone yanked the power card? It’s kind of super silly and not very practical. Also, don’t forget to bring extra cash for the deposits since they even separate charge for access card & towel !
Heads up—encourage the manager to acknowledge the concerns instead of brushing them off, and to check on the order and cleanliness in the room! Honestly, considering the price, the service is a total...
Read moreI highly recommend this place , but there are some points which are easy to solve :
l have chosen This hostel because I arrived at 5:00 am and they let us do early check in . I asked for reception guy how much should I pay for the room and he said the price in USD dollars , I kindly asked to him give me price in dongs as my currency it’s not dollars . I have budget to follow even if small money .
Ok . He gave me the price in dongs and good, deal . He got all my cards details ( we can’t not insert or tap credit card - you need to give him your credit card details - I recommend you give your digital card instead of physical card - I have never seen it before - they take all my card informations ). Even cvv . So 🚩
So , I checked the price it was charged more and I asked for him why he charged me in usd instead dongs ( and he said it was the policy and procedure ) and I complained with him because I have being charged more than he informed and he said - “ here it’s dollars if you don’t wanna you have to find another hostel “ 🤡🤡🤡 😂😂 well , at 5:00 am for sure I was going to Walk and try to find another place to Stay . ( ironic )
When I asked the price in dong I was expectating being charged in dongs . Anyway … be aware about it - they take your card information also you will pay more they say . ( they don’t accept money )
It’s should be informed on apps and website . Doesn’t not matter how much it is .
Advantages * disadvantages 🚩✅
Good hostel , looks new but here are some points :
no breakfast they don’t provide towel beds ( no curtain) they don’t provide shampoo , only soap cleaning should be improved ( I had to requested to clean my room because the housekeeper she just skipped my room for more than 2 days ) but it’s a clean place . they keep our credit card details they should forbidden shoes inside the room to avoid dirty and bed bugs - 8 beds in a small room and close window don’t combine .
✅✅✅✅ good lockers air con and fan inside the room they have 16 floors with lift swimmingly pool beds are confortable new furniture hub area they have restaurant inside the hostel near the beach good shower early check - without no charge spoken english staff kind staff tours we can lock our room door ( every guest has one...
Read moreMy favourite hostel on my travels so far in south east Asia. The staff are incredibly friendly and fun. I ended up getting really bad heatstroke and Andy looked after me when I wasn’t feeling too great and gave me lots of electrolytes to make me feel better and you could tell he was very knowledgeable in what do! The bar staff, My and Bong sang for me when I was ill too. They were very kind and were the most entertaining people I have met on my trip! Bong went to buy me medicine too which I was very grateful for and My is such a brilliant person to talk to and play poole with! I went on the boat cruise whilst I was staying there supervised by a great person called Liam who made the cruise immensely fun and enjoyable (May I add, he had brilliant music taste!) All of the staff were very friendly and the whole atmosphere of the hostel was amazing and fun! What I like a lot about this hostel as well is not only the lovely staff but that it only takes you a few minutes to walk to the beach, they have good deals for food, drinks and extra nights (if you book the cruise like I did, you get to have a free extra night in either Nha Trang or Hoi an which was perfect for me when I got heat stroke and couldn’t travel!), and that they have a water station that you can fill up your water bottle which I hadn’t encountered at any other hostel which was great as I didn’t have to spend money on bottled water and made me wonder why other hostels weren’t doing the same thing.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you go to Nha Trang as I had such a fun time with not only the staff but the other...
