I had a really nice experience at Bánh Mì Củi. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the place feel warm and inviting. The highlight is definitely the grilled chicken bánh mì – flavorful, juicy, and delicious, one of the best I’ve tried.

The shop itself is beautifully designed with a clean and modern vibe. It’s a pleasant space to sit down and enjoy a meal. The open kitchen is a great touch, letting you see how the food is prepared, which adds a sense of freshness and transparency.

That said, the ventilation could be improved. Because the kitchen is open, the smell of the food tends to spread around the whole shop, which might be a little overwhelming at times. With stronger ventilation, the experience would be perfect.

Visited 2024.09.02 and enjoyed the Banh mi a lot. The 2nd visit was 09.03 around 12:20. Ordered in vietnamese. Cut in half, no coriander. The staff didn’t seem to listen what i was saying. I had to say several times(no coriander, cut in half, and requested to put radishes.) staff saw there was empty radishes in the box but didnt fill up the radish and put tiny amount of radishes so i had to request to put more radishes. Now im having banh mi and i found there are coriander. It’s So frustrating. It seems all koreans gave a good point but why the staff treated the same korean but spoke vietnamese worse?
