So firstly let's do the food. Just absolutely delicious. We had fresh spring rolls veggie ones and they were devine. My partner had noodles with veg and it was so good. And I had beef pho WOW. We got given a passion fruit each at the end of the meal. Yummy. The drinks were so good too. I had a passion fruit smoothie and my partner had a hot ginger honey tea both so tasty. You get free top ups of this little cups of tea aswel which is a really nice touch.

My favourite thing about this restaurant even though the food was delicious was the hosts. Amazing family. Husband and wife and chef daughter. And the kids. Just so lovely, we legit felt right at home.

We had such a fantastic experience at Duc Nam in Ninh Binh! The food was incredibly fresh and flavourful , and it was so special to see the family go out and buy the ingredients fresh for our meal.

What made it even more special was the warm homey atmosphere. Their kids were running around, laughing and playing, which added such a lovely personal touch.

The family who runs the restaurant is absolutely lovely - they made us feel so welcome and took great care to ensure we had an amazing dining experience. This is a family ran restaurant serving delicious authentic Vietnamese food in Tam Coc! The owners are so so lovely and always happy to top up a small cup of green tea 😊. I came here for both breakfast and dinner time as a solo diner on Wednesday!

I had the beef banh mi earlier which was divine! Then for dinner I had goat with lemon as I heard goat based dishes is one of the main local cuisines from Ninh Binh! I was certainly happy with the goat with lemon dish and the prices for the meals were at great value, along with the fantastic service provided!
