Bống mini mart and sneakers — Restaurant in Ninh Bình Province

We spent 3 days in Tam Coc and we went there every day. The food is fresh and really testy. I really recommend to try banh my, shrimps, noodles, burgers, chicken with pineapple. However best of the best was for us fried vegetables spring rolls. The owners are family, 2 sisters with husbands with their parents and kids. They run the restaurant and the supermarket. They are very friendly and smiling. We felt really welcomed and taken care off. If there is a lot of people be patient, it might take a little longer but it is worth it! We passed this on our way to our home stay and stopped in for a drink. We saw they made Banh Mi sandwiches and came back the next day for lunch because the owners are so sweet. Best Banh Mi sandwiches we’ve had so far! They cook to order with lots of Choices. We chose One pork/vegetables and one tofu/cheese/vegetables. We had 2 sandwiches, chips, drinks all for 120 VND which was wonderful. Plus they gave us apple for dessert. What’s more they moved our table to the shade and set up a fan for us just so we would be cool!!!! We love these...

We came here because of the reviews and were sorely disappointed. We had the Banh My because we read in another review they highly recommend it. it was very bland, not salted meat without seasoning or marinade and we had to add all the sauces they had to make it taste like something. We also had vegetable spring rolls, which were good. the price was very low (30k for banh mi and 30k also for 6 spring rolls, beer was 10k during happy hour). So food 2 stars, price...
