I had dinner at Restaurant Atlantis during my stay at Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of my trip. The restaurant sits right by the poolside with a view of the garden and the sea beyond, so the atmosphere is super relaxing, especially around sunset.
I ordered the seafood platter, and it did not disappoint. The lobster was fresh and grilled perfectly sweet, juicy, and not overcooked like in some other places. The prawns, squid, and scallops were also fresh, and I loved the dipping sauces they provided, especially the spicy lime sauce that really brought out the flavors. My friend tried the grilled fish in banana leaf, which came out fragrant and tender. We also shared a Caesar salad and a basket of garlic bread, which was a great starter.
The service was excellent staff were attentive but not intrusive. They made good recommendations, and I appreciated how they checked in just enough without interrupting the meal. Our server even helped us pair our food with a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, which elevated the whole experience.
The price is a bit on the higher side, but for a resort restaurant, it’s within expectation, and you really get what you pay for in terms of quality and service. We stayed for about two hours just enjoying the food, the drinks, and the view, and never once felt rushed.
If you’re staying at Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc and looking for a relaxing evening with fresh seafood and good service, Atlantis is definitely worth a visit. I’d recommend booking in advance if you want a seat near the pool because those tables get...
Read morefood made me and my wife sick with food poisoning 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I won't eat here again and I do not recommend you eat here.
Food made me VERY SICK. My wife and I got a stomach ache a few hours after eating and have been throwing up ever since eating here for lunch.
Maybe something was off or made us sick? We shared all the food (The only meal we shared on holiday and we are sick at the SAME time.) And within hours we knew. Atlantis restaurant had given us food poisoning...
The main course came out way too fast. Maybe it was cooked and left and sent out? I don't believe it was physically possible to cook the food in the time we received it.
Duck is dry and disgusting. Soy sauce and honey? Tasted so salty. The duck was very chewy and dry. It was terrible and the sauce was disgusting....
Steak looked beautiful but it was over cooked and under seasoned.
Pasta serve is VERY small. Too much onion.
The bruschetta was nothing like real bruschetta. 3 pieces for the price was a bit of a rip off.
Don't expect the best quality. It looks nice but taste & hygiene is 0/10. Dirty food...
Not happy. One of the most expensive restaurants in the island and made us sick.

Read moreI don't know who all these people who rated it 5 stars are perhaps we just ran into a bad shift but we had one of the worst experiences in Vietnam at this restaurant.
The food was terrible the steaks are tiny, overpriced and awful! We didn't finish the fois Gras steak and waygyu or whatever it was called. The pizza was blow average!
As you walk into the restaurant you expect something extraordinary but you get staff that ignores you we had to raise our voices to get attention while they were talking behind a screen at the end of the kitchen.
They brought 4 cups filled with ice, we asked to remove ice so they took back 2 cups with ice and left us just 2 cups - and we had to raise our voice again to get another 2 cups - we were 4 customers that was so frustrating. I just drank from the bottle as it was hot and I was thirsty. There were 2 tables it's not like they were swamped with customers...
