Grand World is one of the weirdest places I have been in the long time. Enormous, megalomaniac complex with mostly empty buildings, surrounding a man-made canals with kitsch gondolas and singers belting out Puccini every night. Not what you expect on the coast of Cambodja. I will not forget driving along a 2 km stretch of empty shop windows. Businesses that are open are either seafood restaurants or massage parlors. So be prepared to get accosted for a massage every 5 meters.

similar to another review, this place is so confusing! It’s so quiet and so many shops are empty, it’s such a giant place but no atmosphere, we thought the night market would be better but it’s just as quiet, a few food stalls no souvenirs
