Nhà Hàng Phú Quốc - Trâu Ngon Quán — Restaurant in Phú Quốc

Ugh, well Phú Quốc was a dream, but Trâu Ngon Quán wasn't quite the stuff of travel brochures. The island itself was amazing - beautiful beaches, delicious street food, and that whole tropical paradise vibe. So we were pretty hyped to try Trâu Ngon Quán, based on its location and the promise of fresh seafood.

Let's just say it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly a knockout either. The staff were friendly enough, but the service was a bit slow. We waited ages for our food, and it wasn't a particularly busy night. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but the dishes felt a bit bland. The seafood, which we were most excited about, seemed a touch overcooked. It wasn't terrible, but for the price, I was hoping to be wowed.

Overall, a bit of a let down. Maybe it was an off night, but Trâu Ngon Quán didn't quite live up to the Phú Quốc magic for me. There are probably tastier options out there, so I'd recommend doing some research before settling...

Nhiều hải sản, đồ ăn nấu tạm được. Tuy nhiên quán cạnh sông nên mùi khá hôi, thỉnh thoảng tàu thuyền chạy qua mùi xăng dầu không ngửi nổi và khá là nhiều muỗi. Đồ ở đây thì chuẩn theo vị nam: cay, mặn. Nhân viên ở đây thì chắc là tệ nhất mình từng biết. Nhân viên khá là hậu đậu, làm đổ chai bia vào bát nước chấm bắn lung tung lên người khách. Nhân viên thì toàn đứng chơi không gọi lấy khăn vs đồ uống mãi không xong. Thái độ không niềm nở thân thiện vs khách hàng tẹo nào. Mình vào có nhắc quán mình k ăn được cay nên đừng cho ớt vào bất kì món nào. Dù nhắc đi nhắc lại rất nhiều lần nhưng món gì họ cũng bỏ ớt sừng vào làm mình không ăn nổi. Đĩa đầy vỏ cũng k ra dọn lại tự mình phải dọn dù nhân viên chơi đầy. Thêm nữa là mình phát hiện ra họ nấu cả cơm trong toa lét. Mà toa lét toàn ruồi bọ. Rất mất vệ sinh. Đánh giá tạm 2 vì có món cháo tôm hùm, rau hẹ xào khá là ngon vừa miệng.

First thing, do not come to this restaurant and do not listen to the advice of the taxi driver if you don't want to waste your money. I got a very bad experience at here. The food is fine if you can eat spicy food. The price is quite high too. But the service the bring is so bad. I really don't like the staff here, both their skills and attitudes. They are not friendly at all. I told them bring me some tissue and i need to asked four people and 4 times to get some tissued. I got few more bad experience in this restaurant. Quite nice. A restaurant by the side of the road. The crab was nicely cooked. Blue crab about vnd800,000 per kg. Cockles and clams about vnd400,000 per kg - the blood cockles were nicely grilled, still juicy. Lobster about vnd1,700,000 per kg. Scallops on sticks, 4 sticks with 5 scallops on each stick, vnd120,000. Ordered the watercress with garlic, vnd60,000, big portion of vege. They have menu in English but the staff are not that good with English, so if you're asking price, write it down...
