Oku is a great restaurant and Chef Andy and his team do an amazing job! We spent 2 weeks at the Regent and went more often than planned to Oku, just because it is so good. The omakase was always a truly special experience and even though we had it several times in just 2 weeks, each time we were presented with a completely new menu. The courses are not just incredibly tasty but also new and original. They often have a little twist which make them very special. But it is not just the food but the people, the team and in particular Chef Andy who made every evening memorable. Oku is for sure one of the best omakase experiences we had and highly recommended. My partner and I stayed at the Regent Hotel for a little over two weeks last December, and while the entire experience was fantastic, our time at Oku truly stood out.

We originally planned to dine there just once, but after that first meal, we couldn’t resist going back—twice more! Every visit felt just as special as the first. The service was warm and thoughtful, the attention to detail was impeccable, and the food? Simply exceptional. The flavors, the presentation, the whole experience—it was all unforgettable.

It’s been two months since our trip, and we’re still talking about it. Safe to say, we’re already counting down the days until we’re back...

A amazing gourmet journey by Chef Tam, we tried the 10 course omakase style menu, it is not the traditional Japanese style but more like a fusion of Japanese and Western dishes, the service is amazing, the chef explained everything about the dish, the ingredients and their inspiration of it. Of particular are the Olive powder and the Vietnamese spicy ant on the dessert. Other dishes like Wagyu beef is excellent and match the expectation of a 5 stars hotels restaurant.

And not sure if it is limited offer but when we book the restaurant they said as our menu was over a certain amount and they offered free pickup and drop off service from our hotel. More...
