Came here cause of the good reviews but honestly this is just not up to standard, the dumplings may be made in-house but they tasted frozen. Prawn dumplings had prawn mince inside, usually they have chunks of prawn, the glass styled casing was tough, chewy and cold, not sure how as they had just been taken out of steamer. The other prawn dumplings in the soft glass pancake were pretty good and sauce was nice,.. this was only edible thing… finally the soup noodles had extremely tough chewy and thick outside and inside the soup tasted a bit strange and the pork mince was very pasty…like it had been in the freezer forever… we left half cause they were so bad. My beer also had a sticky gooey rim which I had to whipe clean - like spilt fish sauce or something. Honestly wanted to like this place but I cannot give this anything more than a 2. Maybe other people have a better experience but I’m just...
Read moreThis place is awesome! The owner and staff are out of this world polite and they cater to your every need. I even didn’t have enough cash (as they don’t accept card) to pay for my whole meal and didn’t have my card on me to go to the ATM, but the owner said it’s ok, just come back tomorrow and give me the rest of the money. So I am back today and they are treating me very kindly. I don’t know one owner that would trust someone like that and allow you to come back the next day. I found that very sweet and it shows that for this business the customer is first over money. I respect that. Also they speak English! The food is also amazing and the Chinese chilli is just like back in China. The dumplings are amazing! Prices are reasonable as well. A little gem here on Phu Quoc if you love Chinese jiaozi. Thanks guys, will be coming back more often while...
Read moreStaff is very slow. Ordered 2 dishes, watermelon juice, and iced tea.
I've never had watermelon juice that tasted like water. After I told the staff they said they use 100% watermelons for their juice, I was just making them aware not asking them to make me a new one. They then proceed to eat watermelons while staring and smirking in my direction.
My husband ordered a glass of ice tea but it wasn't even brought out with the juice. He had to ask 3 times before they gave him some tea.
We waited 20 minutes for 2 orders of dumplings at this point we already wanted to leave. When dumplings came out they tasted decent, but the dough wrap was so thick. And the fried dumplings weren't even crispy.
The staff is extremely rude. I'm Vietnamese living in Ho Chi Minh City and I've never had any staff act this way.
Do not come here, would give 0/5...
