Great views but the food was not great.

When we arrived, it looked closed, but then turned out it wasn't. The owner/receptionist had been away from the desk, so we had to contact her through WhatsApp to access the menu and order through her, as the rest of the staff did not speak or spoke little English. They were very accommodating and welcoming.

We ordered the cafe sua nong, lemongrass chicken and vermicelli with pork. My partner thought the cafe sua was delicious! But then, the disappointment sets in: chicken was dry and the flavour was not prominent. It was really hard to chew through the chicken and enjoy it. My partner said his "vermicelli" dish was also bland. If it wasn't for the fish sauce, the dish itself had no flavour. The pork seemed to have been boiled instead of fried or grilled.

The view really made this place enjoyable, but I think they could improve the maintenance of the place. As the space is not enclosed, there are a lot of bugs and cobwebs on and in the seating and table areas. It didn't feel comfortable...

In addition to hosting a great hotel to stay, the Memory has a delicious restaurant too : the Riverside! Me and my family enjoyed their food and smoothies at all hours 🤤 The managers are very nice and it feels that it is important to them that their guests have a great time and love their food.
