Victory Road Villas is advertised as a three star hotel, yet I would easily say it's a four star hotel. The service is impeccable and friendly, the food delicious, and the grounds/accommodations top notch. Everything from the down pillows to the plush toilet paper screams excellence. It's actually incredibly impressive that they've managed to execute this in a jungle environment. The main floor of our villa has a living area and kitchen along with a private patio equipped with an outdoor shower. Lush vegetation decorates the patio and the lovely sounds of wildlife are everywhere. Venture upstairs and there is a bedroom with king size bed, a lovely bathroom, and another patio with a swing overlooking the tropical mountain vista. Hungry? Stop in at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal (props to the chef who exceeded expectations). Maybe play a game of pool while you sip a cocktail. Hot? Take a plunge in the pool or maybe hit the sauna first. Across the street is a waterway, a backdrop of mountains and swings to take it all in.

The location is fabulous. It truly feels like an untouched tropical paradise - an escape from the hustle and bustle of Vietnam's large cities. We visited during the rainy season and still everything was open to the public. We would recommend renting a scooter and heading to the mountains where you can visit the various caves on your own. But, if visiting during the rain season, bring a serious raincoat - we were quite chilled on the motorbikes but we would do it again (it was that fun). Paradise cave includes a walk through the jungle up to a mountain and down into the cave. The jungle walk is preceded by another walk through the grounds and we would recommend taking a buggy for this initial portion; otherwise you're easily looking at 2 hours of intense walking. Dark cave was more of an adventure with an initial zip line across the water, followed by a walk/wade into the cave. The cave exploration ends in a mud bath, followed by a swim and kayak. It was great fun, even in the rain.

We booked three nights and have another exciting day ahead of us. Phong Nha and Victory Road Villas is a must on any itinerary. In fact, it seems like the road less traveled which gives it a very...

Chose this hotel because of the location and great reviews. Glad we stayed here. As is often the case when you travel to a remote area, we had a couple minor inconveniences with some water leakage in the bathroom and coordination of events but what makes a place great is how they respond to those events and the team at Victory Road Villas took quick action and showed genuine care for ensuring we enjoyed our stay.||Yes the villas are spacious and nice and the food is very good(the steak and salmon were highlights and you can't beat the pizza happy hour) but the staff is the highlight of the show. Every one of the members of the team has good energy and did a great job. There were a few stand outs. Hien in reception is amazing! Followed up multiple times with weather updates and suggestions to maximize our time and set us up with a very memorable easy rider tour.(Highly recommend) Lan at reception was also wonderful and helped us plan, rent a scooter(also recommend) and coordinated our departure ride. While I'm sure they give the same level of service to everyone, it really felt like they went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. Also Hong was a standout at the bar. She's full of bubbly energy and was very kind and made great food recommendations.||We had a very memorable and enjoyable stay. We chose the location for all of the above and were not disappointed but the added bonus was hearing about the colored history of the area and getting a small glimpse of the...

We really enjoyed our visit!! We stayed in villa 3 and were treated to fantastic views. The villa was two floors and had a sunken living room. It also had an outdoor bath/shower. The outdoor bath/shower was located off the living room, so probably not usable if you are traveling with folks you are not wanting to bear it all to 😊. The bathroom on the upper floor was spacious and clean (not a wet bathroom, separate shower). The paper products (toilet paper and tissues) were very high quality!

We had included breakfasts, the selection was great! I was a little nervous ordering the French toast, and eggs Benedict, but these were probably the best I have had in Vietnam.

They also had free bicycles, and we took advantage of them each day to ride the short distance to restaurants on the other end of town (5 minutes). Just be careful to make sure the tires are full, and the breaks are good. They probably need to work on making sure all the bicycles are ready in the future.

The staff were super friendly and were knowledgeable about the area and attractions. The arranged the scooter rental for us, it was super easy!

If you are a westerner you will be very happy at this hotel!! It’s not the cheapest hotel in town, but the best value for a quiet, clean, full service experience. We will definitely...

Stunning rooms, great use of space, comfortable bedding, clean etc. Staff were really friendly and kind with my 4 year old, they even organized a cake for my birthday. Food in the restaurant was good quality, fresh and a welcome break from the other places we dined at. Happy hour was good, selection and quality of alcohol also good. Great choice for upmarket stay near the caves. They aldo kindly offer free shuttles into town which was super helpful. The only reasons this isnt 5 stars is because despite the stunning outdoor bathroom you couldn't actually enjoy it - took over 1 hour to run the most shallow of baths, so although looked great was totally un functional due to water pressure and literally would have taken over 2 hours to have a small bath. Also although staff were very friendly, service for drinks along the river was quite slow at times, but to be fair it is Tet and staff are stretched. We had some issues with mosquitoes but this was helpfully sorted with spray so not a real problem. All in all would be delighted to stay here again when we return for more caving adventures.
