I don’t recommend and wouldn’t ever come back. We came here for a buffet. 169k plus 10%surcharge on bill. They strategically give you a lot of rice on the first round of ordering. Everything was either overloaded with rice or flour batter. Sushi had double or triple the size of rice compared to many other sushi restaurants or compared to the pictures you see on their regular menu pictures or online posts. The rolls for the buffet was 8 pieces which made it basically very hard to eat the whole thing if you ordered 2 rolls for buffet of 2 people, especially with all the rice they put inside of it. The Japanese style Banh xeo, was more like banh bot chien-filled with lots of flour. Staff told us after our first round of ordering from the buffet menu that and leftovers will be charge extra. At that point there was probably three balls of rice on the table. And half a Japanese pancake that we couldn’t eat. When we ordered the second round of sashimi, the rice portion was normal size and small. They strategically give you a lot of rice on the first round of ordering. Environment was also very hot and nothing really taste like good sushi. Also the Yakatori taste better outside at street vendor carts. Definitely a business that will take money from customer 1 time and don’t care if they come back, and I am 100% sure nobody will ever come back. Either the staff was intentionally putting a lot of rice or the owner has no idea how to run a business so trained the staff to put a lot of rice. This business will not stay open for a long time so here is this review and I’m glad to give this review to give you future guests as a warning and hopefully businesses like this shut down or charge there business strategy and come to a sense of mind as a customer when doing business instead of thinking like a...
Read moreI used to love this place when they first opened. Great food and atmosphere. Now, however, they have changed the music so it sounds as though you are walking into a club. This is, unfortunately, not an isolated occurrence. It takes a great deal for me to write something like this in a review, and it is motivated by the fact that I was so very excited about this restaurant when they opened. Recommended it to everyone. Bring back decent music (it doesn't even have to be "Japanese" music, just something you could actually eat to without getting a headache) and the review will quickly become a...
Read moreReally unimpressed with the food here, it’s expensive and not very good. No menu in English which would be fine if the pictures were clear, but it’s impossible to see what the pictures are of so we were pretty much ordering blind. Ended up ordering skewers of rubbery chicken fat which were pretty disgusting. Miso soup wasn’t good and neither was the sushi/sashimi we ordered. To top it off staff tried to charge us for wet wipes we didn’t use. Won’t...
