Not a fan of concrete jetties but still this one has a lot going for it. The 4 bench seats half way along face different directions giving special coastal or sea views. The sale shape structures provide needed shade for summer beach days. Its also a popular fishing jetty for squid and crabs but I am sure locals can tell their great fish catch stories. The regular visit by a seal adds a special touch. Add a warm to hot day and you can spend a lot of time sipping coffee or eating fish and chips or fantastic goods from the nearby bakery. Not too far to carry your icecream either from Copenhagen. Basically everything you need is nearby to make some time spent on Brighton Jetty a very special treat. Watch yachts, paddle boards, kayaks, or crazy surfers jumping off the jetty in wild weather and raging seas. ! Most evenings there a few people snapping the jetty as they capture another beautiful sunset.. Why bother going to the Mediteranian Islands? We...

If your looking for a good place for Christmas.. or boxing day there's no better place than to witness Australian glory in action, if you wanna feel scorching heat, blistering feat, and the occasional rude bystanders then Brighton jetty is the place, full of action and more including a good old stabbing and bashing, cops, arguments, witnesed devorces and cought affars and don't forget the ice cream because after all that you might wanna line up for 20 minutes to get an ice cream that melts before you've exited the building, but don't let this be a reflection of the time you could be having, come on down I give it a 5/5, most interesting...

Brighton Jetty stands as a beloved destination for both locals and tourists alike. Its popularity is well-deserved, offering a mesmerizing view, particularly during sunset – a breathtaking spectacle if you're fortunate. The jetty's charm extends to its appeal for fishing enthusiasts, providing a tranquil spot to indulge in the hobby. However, it's essential to note that despite the allure, caution is paramount – jumping into the water is strongly discouraged. The unique blend of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and a friendly atmosphere solidifies Brighton Jetty as a must-visit spot, promising memorable moments for all who venture there.

This is a beautiful beach but was very quiet during my visit last Saturday afternoon. There were several restaurants opened but not many customers were dining in at around 5:00 pm. Most of the restaurants situated along the Jetty Road so not easy to find one with good seaview. It was very windy and cool during my visit, so very strong wave on the beach and almost no one was swimming. A few people were fishing along the jetty but it seemed their bags / buckets were mostly empty.
