review no. 27 for 2024 @ Brighton Jetty Bakery, Brighton, SA Cheeseburger Pie - $7 Well they had a good selection of pies to try, but couldn't go past a personal favourite of mine the Cheeseburger Pie. It did look on the small side, could have been a bit bigger, but here we go. The pastry was nice and flakey, had a slight crunch to it, cooked ok on top 👌, the underside could have done with a touch more, a little underdone in a couple of spots. Biting into it you could taste the awesome cheeseburger flavour, bang on perfect. The cheese, the ketchup, the mustard and what I reckon tasted pretty similar to big mac sauce. It worked well all together. Yes it did have pickles 🥒. A good cheeseburger pie HAS TO HAVE PICKLE ! The sauce/gravy ratio to meat was pretty spot on. Serving temp perfect and the pie held up together or I'm just good at eating pies with my right hand lol. This would have to be the 2nd best cheeseburger pie I've had. They baker has nailed the flavours. If your here for Gather round head down to Brighton and try this pie out. Many places pass themselves off as bakeries while primarily serving patisserie-style sweets. Brighton Jetty Bakery, however, delivers genuine baked goods. Their London buns are excellent, combining the right amount of sweetness with a hint of spice and currants for a balanced flavour. The pastie, filled with a well-seasoned mix of vegetables and meat, enclosed in a flaky, golden crust, and sauce inside the pasty, is the real deal.

Bought 2 of these tiny tasteless little cookies for our 2 toddlers they had no price on them, charged us $9, ( obvious they never put price on them because no one would pay that ) annoyed cant stand getting ripped off ) charging $4.50 for one of those is a disgrace, kids didn't even eat them. Sausage roll was okay, total for 1 sausage roll and 2 tiny biscuits cost $16.50 shocking

Had a really hard start to my morning, and couldn’t think of anything better than a pastry and a view to get me going. Turns out, I was given a bonus for my day with unbelievable service and sensational vibes from the team at this Brighton Jetty Bakery! The workers are wonderful and really turned my day around, not to mention the lemon slice that made my Saturday. Thank you for the great chats and lovely service, truly a great team...

Very close to end of jetty, so very easy to get to. Heaps of tables on footpath and some undercover. Really good selection of ready made hot pastries, plus made to order sandwich and roll options. Heaps of sweet options. Wholemeal bread on my sandwich was extremely fresh, and the sausage rolls were very tasty. Shiraz beef pie had real meat and real wine. Fed a family of four lunch for ~$45, including biscuits for the kids....
