I felt I had been misled by Google Map. How could it be ranked 4.5? The Sushi, Sashimi and desserts were quite OK. However, the majority of hot dishes were substandard or terribly bad favour. Most of the hot dishes were pre-cooked a while ago, so they were served warm. The Edamame were served from fridge. It was my first time to eat cold Edamame. The shrimp tempura was a little bit warm but with a thick and hard deep fried skin. The tofu salad, squid salad, seaweed salad, cold soba and udon soup etc. were really bad favour. The Wagyu beef were hard and thin, I didn't enjoy it at all. The miso soup was tasteless and just served warm. There were limited choices of food. Due to the quality of most hot dishes being bad or terribly bad, we didn't risk ourselves to order more hot dishes. No one from us dared to swallow all of them at the end, as the server did "seriously and wholeheartedly" reminded us that any leftover would be charged seaparately by weight as a penalty. I have tried so many economic AYCE in Australia. This was probably the worst experience but the most pricey one. Luckily, the Sushi and Sashimi were pretty ok and they were good enough to make me full without leaving hungry.

Our new favourite Japanese restaurant ! Food is amazing and fresh, especially impressed with wide choice of vegan options ! Restaurant offers either a la carte at affordable prices or all you can eat at fixed price of $49 per person with 90 minutes time limit. Depends what you like and how hungry you are, buffet may look like a better choice, but there is plenty of food at a la carte too! Grilled eggplant is especially delicious as well as mushrooms. Everything is fresh and gets delivered quite fast. The only thing o find annoying is the QR code ordering as the text in the app is small and you cannot read the options. Luckily you can ask for help and if someone from staff is fee they will come and help you order. Coming back for sure !

All you can eat was great. Food was excellent. But service was too slow. Literally takes 8-10 minutes for each dish they serve and some hot dishes aren’t even hot. We have already lost appetite by the time they serve the last dish. And the portion they serve for All You Can Eat is not the same as pay as you eat. I guess this is a strategy they use to ensure customers slow down on eating and get full faster. And whatever that’s left on the table that you don’t eat will be charged $10 each. Paid $93 for 2 growling tummies and only managed to swallow down 15 dishes. Not worth it because of the timing they serve. If you are reading this and you are hungry, stick to Pay As You Go please. Thank me by liking this.

Amazing food and service. Thankyou, so so much for your service today... all the food I personally had was top quality and made on premises. I'm glad I followed the words of a kind friend to dine with them and you... you are now my fave sushi place to go to in Adelaide. Excellent service once again.

I do recommend ordering more than what you think you'll eat in the next 10min as these things are genuinely made on premises and you do need to wait for them. I ordered a few serves of takoyaki in advance and I dont regret that whatsoever - some of the best takoyaki I've had in my entire life.

The down fall here as with most chain sushi places is you will not get genuine wasabi... you will get horseradish which although its from the same plant - its from a diff part of the plant and it tastes much, much differant to actual wasabi... true wasabi has a rather unfamiliar and unami taste which you'd know if you've tried it... I have had that pleasure and I rather enjoy it. I dont particularly enjoy packaged horseradish claiming to be what it is not... it has a far differant bitter taste and can be described as sour or spicy or even both.

Given this is NOT a chain sushi joint... I did not expect so much horseradish... I actually had the expectation of genuine wasabi. A little deflated to find otherwise.

Utilities are clean. Theres a male, female and if you identify outside of those or you're disabled you have that option also in the bathroom area down the back. They each have bins too and that's quite thoughtful.

Make sure you eat all that you have ordered or you will be charged excess.

Seaweed salad was as expected. I would have preferred more seaweed rather then lettuce though... I didn't see the reason for the lettuce in utter honesty. It merely drowned in the sauce for the most part. It was however rather fresh and crispy with colour so you get points for that, some places serve up old or badly stored lettuce ... you do not. Your ingredients - everything from the rice on the sushi (beautifully made, prepared and flavoured btw) to the cuts of fish and whatnot was done well and all produce was fresh.

Overall... I cannot complain a great deal. It was really good food and yeah, rather clean also. I'll definitely be coming back at some point and I sincerely hope you guys continue to have a long business run.

Granted owner sees this at some point, may I ask the name if the red sake ? It was absolutely delicious and I'd like to buy myself a bottle somewhere 😊

Kind regards...

I had a booking yesterday for 24 people to celebrate my birthday. A part from the food (which was great as always), we were served really poor. There was only one girl taking orders from us which took very long and make us waiting a lot with no food at the table for a couple of times. But this is understandable for a large group, but the big problem was the waiters who were serving us, I don’t know her name but she seems to be a team leader because she also asked another waiters to stop serving our table when he tried to help us. She was very rude for more than one time. My guests complained about her and so do I. When I complained to her, she doesn’t apologise and said to send a formal complain by email, so here I am. (this is a copy of my email)

That is the second time that she acts like that, few weeks ago I went to the restaurant with some friends and my son who has cerebral palsy and doesn’t move the left arm/hand much was playing with the shop sticks and we are cheering up to encouraged him to continue because is not common for him to use the left hand, then she came to our table and asked him to stop because it was disrespectful in her culture. First of all we didn’t know that and we apologised straight away. Secondly, she was not even a little polite she was very gross. She could ask us to stop in a different manner and we would perfectly understand.

I spend a thousand dollars in this restaurant only yesterday and I not keen to come back again. It is very sad that it has happened, the food is great but she has a very bad customer service which impacts the overall presentation of the restaurant.

The others staffs are great, they tried to help when she let them do.

Hopefully this email helps her to be a better person and learn how customer service needs to be done and how...

Everything was quite tasty but there were a couple duds. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant is decorated very nicely inside. Prices vary from seeming fair to seeming overpriced. Example, $15 for a cocktail is very fair, but $4 for a single scoop of plain ordinary vanilla ice cream on its own (no toppings or anything) is very overpriced. Waiting times weren't great. We ordered the porterhouse steak dish and had to ask staff a total of five times about where it was. We were told at one point that the kitchen was very busy. Well, yes but why was all the other food we'd ordered before and after we ordered the steak coming out and a lot of it was also cooked? I think we can be forgiven for thinking the steak had been forgotten about and asking where it was. After about 40 minutes of waiting since we ordered it we asked again and still the steak dish didn't come out so we figured we'd give up and go ahead with ordering dessert. The steak dish came out ten minutes after our dessert. No apology. I mean, isn't it a bit weird that your guests are eating dessert and you're bringing out a dish they asked for over an hour ago? Oh, and also we were with friends and they had also ordered the steak dish at the same time as us so we were both waiting for one each. They gave up on it and told staff to not bother bringing it out. So yeah, a bit of a weird...
