Andrews Meats (butcher shop) and the Butcher’s Grill kiosk are new to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre since May 2019. I can’t speak for the butcher shop but can attest that the butcher’s grill is serving up some mighty fine gourmet burger fare. They also have various wraps/rolls, breakfasts (some all day options, the rest available until 11:30am), steaks, and chunky pies and home made sausage rolls available.
We had: Andrew’s signature Angus burger, $15.90 - Angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pineapple, cheese bacon, egg and beetroot, served with a side of chips classic Aussie lamb burger, $7.90 - tasty lamb patty, lettuce, tomato, onion served with aioli and sweet mustard pickles
We were there around noon on a Sunday and business was bustling. The team of 4 working in the kiosk were kept busy but seemed to be managing well and were churning out the orders. Our food took around 15 minutes to be served which wasn’t too bad.
Wifey’s Angus burger was too beastly to handle so she had to deconstruct it. I think she was a bit ambitious with her choice but I got to enjoy some so I’m not complaining! The beer battered chips were pretty good too and a great accompaniment to the burgers. I quite enjoyed my lamb burger - it got a little messy with the sweet mustard trying to escape but the flavours were great and I’d happily order this again.
Overall I reckon this place offers fantastic great value for money - there’s plenty of options under $10 but you’re definitely not sacrificing quality or taste at that price point. I’m glad we branched out from our usual food court options this time and will definitely be...

Came here at the recommendation of a friend, decided to have a larger meal for the purpose of those review. I had both a Pie and a Sausage roll. The sausage roll was well above average both in size and flavour, yet below average cost somehow. Quite impressive! The pie was around average price but was perhaps the best pie I've had in a long time. Absolutely packed full of flavour and quality meat, a little greasy but that's to be expected given it was a cheese and bacon pie.
Customer service was great as well, plenty of charasima present in the staff member who served myself and my friend even despite a broken eftpos machine, though I shan't let that sully this review as eftpos issues are often out of control of the staff.
Overall, top quality, if the meat from the butchery itself is as good quality as the food I purchase from the grill, than I would say don't hesitate to come...
Read moreI was impressed by the presentation of the meat but every single item I have cooked has been an utter disappointment and ended up in the bin. Tonight's T bones were cooked to medium rare - tough, Lamb chops yesterday baked to medium rare - tough, last week's chicken drums satisfactorily cooked - smelled & tasted weird. All of which were sold to me at a premium price. Unfortunately, I let the excitement of taking my business away from the supermarket get the better of me, and bought a full freezer load but realistically I am facing the prospect of throwing out the rest (about $150 worth) and going back to woolies as at least I know their cuts are always tender. Being a commercially trained cook, I take great care in the preparation and cooking of my meals and I would rather biff the meat out now than waste my time and energy on lovingly preparing and cooking substandard meat that will go in the bin anyway. I recommend steering well clear of...
