Did a package for Holey Moley and the Hijinx Hotel. Had a lot of fun at the hotel, however Holey Moley was an absolute cluster.
Large groups of people were just pushed through the course and had to stand around for 10 minutes at a time just to play 1 of the 9 holes. There was no order or staggering when it came to customers.
The person that explained the game (not sure of her name but I think was the only Asian at the counter) just rambled off this giant speech of information as fast as possible and was given tokens and then walked away. Did not hear any of the instructions and just followed what others were doing.
Obviously being mini golf its not that complicated, but why have a 3 minute speech if the person saying it doesn't care if you hear it?
It was a cool theme and whoever built it put the time and effort, but unfortunately it was lost on the impatient golfers skipping holes and jumping around, and mass of groups just waiting in line to hit their ball.
There should be some sort of time to wait after letting a client in, and based on their group size, to ensure people have a fun experience. Instead, its just tick and flick customers and you are thrown into a sea of...
Read moreI have visited Holy Moly twice now! Thanks for the amazing staff, Mitch and Maya! They made the visits an amazing experience! We were thinking a definite return at the site. And this time I organised a working party on a Sunday night, and the lovely lady, Maya served us! Again, she was so patient with us and understood that some of us would be late for a group gathering. She checked with us all the time that if we need anything, before and during our games. I have to say, I feel your group trained your staff so well! Another visit is on our...
Read moreWe had a Child's party booking for 9 people for which we were supposed to have a host which we were never given. When it was our time for Karoke (booked for 2pm) we were told all booths were busy and we would need to wait until 2:30-3pm and to wait in the restaurant - we went down there and it was filthy, most tables were empty but covered in mess while 2 staff were standing behind the bar chatting. There was not a single table where we could sit. Our Karoke room was eventually made ready at 2:45pm. The facilities of the venue were fantastic but the organisation and staffing was terrible. Staff were all quite young and didn't seem to know what was going on. I would not recommend this...
