I had a wonderful time at the Riverside Sunday Market yesterday. It was held at the botanic garden, which was a perfect location for a relaxing and enjoyable day. The garden is located near the river, and it has a beautiful view of the water and the city skyline. The market had a variety of food and drinks from different cuisines, such as French, Brazilian, Mexican and Korean. I tried some delicious crepes with Nutella and bananas, x tudo, tacos with chicken and salsa, with spicy sauce and vegetables. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The vendors were friendly and helpful, and they explained the ingredients and the history of their dishes. They also gave me some tips on how to cook them at home. The market also had live music and entertainment, which added to the festive atmosphere.. There were also a lot of space to play around with kids, ride bicycle. The weather was sunny and great, and I enjoyed walking around the garden and admiring the flowers and plants. There were all beautiful plants. It was a refreshing break from the city life and a great way to spend a Sunday. I highly recommend visiting the Riverside Sunday Market if you have a chance. It is a great place to taste different cultures and have fun with your family...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor those who love Thai food in Brisbane, Yui's Thai Pan at the Riverside Sunday Market is a top destination. Their Pad Gra Pow, especially when topped with an extra egg, is exceptional and unrivaled. I've visited many Thai restaurants throughout Brisbane, yet none compare to the unique flavors at Yui's Thai Pan.
I also recommend trying their Chicken or Seafood Pad Thai. These dishes are a perfect example of the skillful cooking and genuine Thai taste that Yui's offers. This market stall stands out even against popular nearby thai brisbane cbd restaurants like Pochana, Kinn Imm, Doo Dee Boran, New Season Asian, Phat Elephant, Gala Thai, Phat boy and Thai on Time. Believe me, i've tried them all many times.
Yui's Thai Pan is undoubtedly one the best in Brisbane, up there with Thai Full Moon bar in the valley. It's become my Sunday ritual. My husky, Lucas, also loves it, especially with the scenic inner city botanic gardens and the brisbane river nearby, making it ideal for a dog walk. We've become regulars, and it seems like we're a familiar sight there now! For anyone in Brisbane seeking an authentic Thai dining experience, Yui's Thai Pan is definitely...

Donāt miss see the honey man, he is very knowledgeable-ask him about pineapple honey, itās delicious and very uncommon! We had lunch at the fabulous Korean food van, the best I have ever even. Thereās a photo in my review, we chose dish number 1, the speciality of the house, it was truly superb, nutritious and delicious. The Polish sweets lady could not be sweeter! What a wonderful young lady and a great cook to boot! We purchased gluten free apple pie, a very generous potion for $10 for desert tonight when we get home. Thereās also glorious donuts with rose petals and jams, $5 and one hundred times better than those mass produced ones. Great music, great atmosphere and great day all round. I love my Sundays at these markets. Take the CityCat to Garden Point near QUT and stroll up and...
