The Short : This is one of the best Restaurant's I have been to, The food was amazing, the service was on point and the atmosphere was impressive.

The Long : The Food, the Entree's were extremely well done, everyone enjoyed their different Entree's and no complaint's at all, they were extremely accommodating if you wanted a side for an Entree too. The Side's were good value, good serving size's and impressive in flavours, textures and presentation, I would like to recommend the roast potatoes they were delicious, perfect crunch and a nice fluffy inside with amazing flavours. The Mains were the main show here, nothing short of perfect, EVERYONE loved their mains, starting with the non steak, The Chicken was well cooked, tender and juicy with plenty of flavour. The Steaks, one word, WOW! I personally thought I would try the black Angus T-Bone with Spicy BBQ Sauce, the sauce personally recommended by our host Isaac after I chose it, the T-Bone was perfectly cooked to my liking and was tender on the tougher side, the tender side was melt in your mouth, The flavour was incredible before I put my butter on or even tried the Spicy BBQ sauce, it was everything I hoped for and more. I highly recommend the Spicy BBQ sauce, its not like smokey BBQ or anything like that, its light and herby with a hint of vinaigrette, not too spicy but pleasant hint that doesn't take away from the flavours of your steak. While I can't talk for everyone, but everyone I asked was impressed with their steak, one member who is not really a steak fan but got a steak because it is a steak house was really impressed with their steak, perfectly cooked how they like it, they had a massive grin after finishing their steak and that says a lot when they aren't really a steak person. Another person who is a massive steak snob sat there eating their steak with a giant grin, they also got the spicy BBQ after hearing Isaac recommend it to try themselves, they got a black angus rib fillet, it too was perfectly cooked and tender, watching how easily it was cut to the point it barely held itself together made me wish I had of got that instead or even on top of my steak, they gave a massive compliment to the steak flavour, texture and perfectly cooked to their choosing (medium rare too). The Meals all came out in a very timely manner, we had a table of 14 and yet all the meals flowed in perfectly timed, no one was kept waiting. I didn't try the deserts but given everything else I am sure they would not disappoint.

The Host to the room Isaac made the night an absolute pleasure, He had a great sense of humour, great personality and extremely uplifting creating and adding to the atmosphere of the room, he also gave perfect explanations and helped with dietary needs, one guest who was pregnant had to be careful of what they ate and Isaac helped navigate what she could and couldn't eat and any concerns were quickly answered, ie. the aioli sauce is vegan and therefore safe to eat while pregnant. Isaac was very quick to getting drinks for the guests, he made no mistakes while we ordered and was very attentive, I didn't have to call Isaac over to get something, he saw I was looking to him and quickly came to see what he could help with. If your host is Isaac you are in great hands!

the other servers were presentable, friendly and professionals, smoothly navigating our room and punctual with the food and drinks when the courses were coming out.

The Room we were in had an amazing atmosphere and everything was well set out, the cutlery was great, the steak knives had everyone talking and wanting to know where they too could get them, that is a massive compliment. The dishes were great and unique too. This is a well crafted atmosphere and I believe Moo Moo has absolutely got this right!

The Moo Moo Team and Isaac especially, thank you for the wonderful night that we...

This is my first Google review ever as I had never felt compelled to write a review. But this was probably one of my worst dining experience ever, if not the worst. For such a high-end and expensive restaurant, this place has HORRENDOUS customer service. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and the restaurant manager was such a condescending and cocky scumbag.

Upon arrival at my reservation time, the receptionist told me that my table was not ready and asked me to wait at the “bar” even though I was there with a 10 year old child. When it was almost 30 minutes past my reservation time and my table was still not ready yet, I asked how much longer we would have to wait. The receptionist just repeated what she said earlier and asked me to wait at the bar again without even looking me in the eye when she talked to me. Then the restaurant manager jumped in and said with a loathsome attitude that “we are doing the best we can and there’s nothing we can do about the wait blah blah blah’. Wow I asked a simple question but was either ignored or got a condescending lecture from someone with a horrid attitude.

When we finally got our table and was ready to order, the restaurant manager was the one who took our order for some reason. I ordered a steak and also an appetizer for me and my kid to share. I was well aware that this restaurant has a one main dish per person rule. So before I made the reservation, I sent an email asking if it would be okay for me and my kid to order one steak and one appetizer to share as there’s no way that my 10-year-old would be able to finish a whole steak. The person who replied (Kyle) said that it would be absolutely fine and that the one main dish per person rule only apply to adults and it is understandable that a kid would not be able to finish one main entree. But when I ordered my food, the restaurant manager claimed that we didn’t order enough food and that we had to order two main dishes. I explained that I already asked about this in advance and the person who replied my email said that it was okay. The restaurant manager even claimed that the person who replied the email was himself!!! Then he went on to give me another 10 minute lecture about how it was unacceptable and that we didn’t order enough food blah blah blah. In the end I really had enough of this BS and said that I will show him the email. After that he finally relented and said he will “make a one time exception” for us as if he was doing us a favor.

Wow just how such a high-end restaurant would employ such a cocky, unreasonable, condescending, disagreeable and hostile person is beyond my understanding. Even if the food were free I would NEVER go back to this restaurant and be subjected to this...

Where to begin? My expectations for this restaurant were incredibly high, given the enticing menu, premium pricing, and glowing reviews. Unfortunately, after dining here with three friends yesterday, I left deeply disappointed.

Having frequented many dining establishments in Brisbane, this experience stands out as one of the most underwhelming—particularly given the $652 bill for four people, which included only one drink each. At that price point, I expected excellence in every aspect of the experience, but sadly, it fell far short.

The disappointments were numerous. The quality of the food did not justify the exorbitant cost; the ingredients were cheap and easily recognizable, to the point where it was obvious where they had been purchased. The dishes lacked the finesse one associates with fine dining, and the preparation and presentation were uninspired—far from the elegance you would expect at a premium restaurant.

The overall ambiance was another letdown. The service was far from five-star, and the environment lacked the sophistication one would anticipate for the price. To my surprise, patrons in casual attire, including thongs, were allowed entry, which detracted from the upscale experience. The atmosphere felt more akin to a pub, yet we paid three times the price.

As someone who cooks extensively and understands the value of quality ingredients and preparation, I couldn’t help but feel cheated. I’ve had far superior meals and experiences at more moderately priced steakhouses. In fact, I can recommend quite a few better steak places in Brisbane that offer far higher quality food, service, and ambiance.

One particularly disappointing moment occurred when I mentioned during the booking that we were celebrating a friend’s birthday. I was assured they would provide a small gesture—perhaps a dessert or something celebratory. Not only was nothing prepared, but even after reminding the waiter, the promise went unfulfilled. Had I known they wouldn’t follow through, I would have brought something myself to make the occasion special. I am so unhappy because I made this booking, and I couldn’t make this occasion special for my best friend.

Ultimately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. If you’re seeking a good steak and a memorable dining experience, there are numerous other venues in Brisbane that offer far better value for money. For the price we paid, I expected so much more, and this establishment failed to deliver on...

Moo Moo's Brisbane: Exceptional Steaks and Unparalleled Hospitality Nestled on the south edge of the CBD in Brisbane, Moo Moo's stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, renowned for serving what are arguably the finest steaks in Queensland, if not across Australia. My numerous visits have been nothing short of remarkable, each experience compelling me to anticipate the next eagerly. Upon entering Moo Moo's, one is immediately enveloped in an ambience that is both inviting and vibrant, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The space is thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, which, when combined with its atmosphere, makes for an ideal setting for any occasion. Central to the Moo Moo's experience is the unparalleled level of service provided by Isaac , Cat, Michael, and the dedicated team. Their genuine warmth and exceptional attention to detail make you feel welcomed and truly part of the Moo Moo family. This remarkable hospitality, coupled with their expertise, ensures that every visit is memorable. However, the pièce de résistance of Moo Moo's is undoubtedly its steaks. Each cut is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality, showcasing the finest meats that are cooked to perfection. The flavours are robust and rich, reflecting a mastery over the culinary craft that is rare to find. It is no exaggeration to say that Moo Moo's serves the best steaks I have ever had, setting a benchmark that is difficult to surpass. In conclusion, Moo Moo's Brisbane is more than just a restaurant; it celebrates exceptional food, outstanding service, and the joy of dining. Whether you are a connoisseur of fine steaks or simply searching for a dining experience that feels like home, Moo Moo's promises to exceed your expectations. It is a place where every visit is a cherished memory in the making and, undoubtedly, a jewel in Queensland's culinary crown. Edit, went back again, and again Cat made the night.

I am a Korean who travels to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Melbourne, and Sydney. I'm currently traveling to Melbourne It was the best restaurant in Australia so far. MooMoo on the Gold Coast restaurant just eats food. But here, the terrace atmosphere and views are art. Also, the staff's service makes you feel good throughout the meal. Thank you to the female employee who was in charge of our table. The taste of scallops melting in the mouth was the best. Signature sounds delicious, but I recommend you try a Beef Tasting plate. Steak and wine from the night view will make for a miraculous day. Lastly, cigars are recommended for dessert. The encounter between chocolate and bacon chips is an art.

Update to the business reply: Your manager’s response to the second dry steak was, “I wouldn’t eat that and I’ll be having a word with our distributor”. Please check your facts. We had two waiter’s throughout this ordeal, big shout out and thank you to Isaac, who really turned it around and was a nice guy, unfortunately it’s still a two star rating based on the below. Our original waiter barely acknowledged the issues and basically made small talk and looked after drinks. The Margaret River Cab Sav was delicious. I’ve never had to return a steak twice, we’ve traveled the world and never experienced this. We ordered medium rare rib eye, we were both given well done, we sent both of ours back, we were sent well done again. Isaac, who wasn’t even our waiter, I think he noticed our disgruntled faces after trying the first steak, swooped in, took care of us, even recommended that we get Ribeye on the bone after the second steak fail, so we went with that. We grazed on the original side while we waited, the truffle/Parmesan fries, these were average, very little truffle flavour. The third steak was amazing, only one, but really delicious. This was accompanied by small baked potatoes with rosemary and rock salt, these were amazing. It shouldn’t take three attempts to get a good steak out of a steak house, especially when the waiter recommended medium rare. The complimentary Sundae brownie was disappointing, the brownie came out in a small baking tray with a small scoop of ice cream and small amount of chocolate sauce. We were expecting this extravagant sundae with lashings of chocolate sauce and ice cream. Sadly, not to be. I would of given a higher rating if we had been given a steak each, not charged for the fries and two sauces (which were not good). A good dessert might have been beneficial. I’m unsure how this restaurant has such a high rating.
