Having a love of the river we thought of no nicer spot to have our wedding/reception than along the river. Being an older couple we just wanted a simple cocktail party with family and a few close friends. We put feelers out to a number of places and Riverlife was really the only one who quickly understood what we were after and willing to make adjustments to meet our needs. Given the city views and having been there before we decided that it was an excellent choice. Isabelle and her team did a wonderful job helping us to create the event and the day we wanted to remember. A single meeting a few quick calls had the venue laid out in the style and format we were after. A few small changes to keep the bride happy on the day was no issue. The team did great work in preparing things for us. The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The bar staff were very friendly and ensured that everyone had their drinks topped up, something quite a number of guests commented on. We had a stand-up finger food menu. The quality of the food was quite good, better than I had expected and there was a good serve. Not even our teenage boys appeared to go hungry and that is an effort in itself. So we disappeared off on our honeymoon having had a great afternoon and our guests have also given us positive feedback on the venue and day. Once again I would like to thank Isabelle and her team for making it a truly special day.

Looking for the adventure, kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, cycling or any kind of adventure, just go for it. This is perfect for someone looking for adventure and want some leisure time in the heart of city. Highly recommended for people who don’t want to go remote but want adventure trail. I personally loved it and suggest you guys to go for it. The prices are fair enough and even they provide safety precautions and safety instruments. There are lockers to store your goods. The charge is minimal, walk from the cultural centre through south bank, see the river view, and reach the kangaroo point. The cliff is astonishing and you will definitely feel interesting as well. I suggest you guys to go for it and take maximum benefit out of it. Don’t look for the second option , when you’ve river life in the heart of the city. They even provide discount on different occasions. The staffs are helpful, they provides pictures as well. Last time i tried adventure. Abseiling and kayaking. Went to see the story bridge, doing kayaking with few of mu friends which was very great experience and did abseiling was freaking scary but i did it. I can recommend this place because it either now or never. Cheers

Riverlife Adventure – Abseiling This is an amazing experience. Both the trainers Matt & Locky are great guys who makes sure that you are safe. Riverlife provides all the required gears for abseiling, gives proper induction and makes sure that you understood all the details. After the induction, they give you the gears and makes sure that you wear them correctly and helps you to tighten the gears. Once the gears are on, they take you on the top of the cliff and explains again how to start abseiling. The first few steps are the most important steps and once you move first five to six steps you come down quickly. Depending on the side where you abseil, you come down quickly. On one location, it felt like you are sliding. Overall, this is an amazing experience and Reverlife Adventure makes sure that we do it safely and enjoy the adventure. I highly recommend this activity if you are in Brisbane or travelling to Brisbane. You can watch my abseiling video at following link.

I booked the twilight rock climbing experience through Viator the day before the activity. When I arrived at RiverLife the next day, I was informed that the tour was canceled due to a lack of confirmation from Viator. The staff said that normally it can take up to 3 days for the confirmation to show up on RiverLife’s system if purchased through a 3rd party website. I wish this was indicated on the website somewhere. This situation not only wasted my time and money traveling to the location but also prevented me from enjoying the experience.

Prior to my visit, I attempted to reach out by calling the shop and messaging Viator's chat system, but I received no response. Upon arrival, the staff were unhelpful; I had to ask for assistance in contacting Viator to process a refund. After spending valuable time trying to resolve this issue, I was ultimately told to handle the refund myself directly with Viator.

I also inquired about joining the twilight kayak experience as an alternative, but it was fully booked. It felt as though the staff did not take the initiative to assist or offer solutions to improve my situation. Although Adian did make a call to Viator on my behalf, his overall attitude seemed dismissive, leaving me with the impression that I was on my own to resolve the...
