A Gem of Byron Bay: Fisherman's Lookout Fisherman's Lookout in Byron Bay is an absolute must-visit for anyone coming to the area. Perched right by the bustling beaches, this spot offers some of the most stunning views you can imagine. The lookout provides a unique vantage point over the ocean and the surrounding cliffs, making it ideal for both sunrise and sunset views. The climb to the top is manageable and well worth the effort, as you are rewarded with a 360-degree panorama that captures the heart of Byron Bay’s scenic beauty. The atmosphere here is tranquil, perfect for those looking to escape the more crowded spots and enjoy a moment of peace. It’s also a fantastic place for whale watching during the migration season, adding an extra touch of magic to the already spectacular views. Fisherman's Lookout isn’t just a viewing platform; it’s an experience that embodies the essence of Byron Bay’s charm and natural elegance. Highly recommended for a truly memorable part of your visit!

I don’t know why and how I didn’t come across more recommendations for this place, it’s truly a hidden gem! The beach is extremely beautiful and feels very underrated. Paid parking is just a short walk away, so it’s easy to access. I’ll never forget the experience of standing with my feet in the shallow waves while watching the sunset. The view during sunset is absolutely stunning, that’s when the real beauty of this place shines. If you’re visiting Cape Byron Lighthouse, make sure you don’t miss this beach. It’s incredibly beautiful and worth the stop.

A must do when in Byron Bay, if not because it is really only about 3 flights up for some amazing views. See the beach, coastline, and take in views of the crystal clear waters of Byron. During certain seasons you could see whales, and any season offers a chance at seeing dolphin pods riding in the surf! Usually not too crowded, but just be mindful as you go up and down the stairs.

Sorry I don't understand if your dog is well behaved and on a leash why they are banned. Absolutely ridiculous, when dogs are treated as family, are not let wild. Some humans should be banned they cause more problems and wreckage then the dogs. Walking along a Broadwalk, through the Pass would be a wonderful experience and should be allowed. State Forest allows dogs it's time that the National Parks, who grabbed all the beautiful locations stopped their use 1080 toxins and changed their outdated bans, allow dogs on leash in some of the beautiful...
