Nice enough gardens. Not as big as it seems. Scenic drive around the gardens wasn’t the nicest. Not even five minutes. Lots of parking in different areas. Dirt road. BBQ facilities. Few tables and benches in different areas. Two toilet blocks in different areas. Decent enough. Couple of bins. Creepy tower was okay to climb. Two levels of viewing. Top is covered in ladybugs that will buzz into your hair/face. Lots of graffiti. Nice view. Few statue things around gardens. Small conservatory. Different areas of trees. Not many different varieties of plants. Fernery is nice but smells terrible. Majority of gardens are dirt paths but there are some brick pavings. Pram and stroller accessible. Wheelchair accessible from car park/tower to the cafe and toilets. Dog friendly though there was a fair bit of dog poo on the grass. Good spot for lunch. Spent about an hour here but can easily see everything in half an hour or less. Only takes ten minutes to walk around the...

Daylesford and Hepburn Springs - Wombat Hill and the Gardens feel like a step back in time - the hill offers a circular, spiral car roadway taking you to the carpark at the top of the hill to where a tall observation tower invites views across the Daylesford area - but it is March 2025 and the tower is fenced off for "building works" with no access available. There are some toilets at the carpark. There is a Cafe somewhere up there too, but the building works require a long-ish walk to get to them. Interestingly, there is an 1800's type canon sitting up there near the carpark. The variety of trees, many of them of a conifir/pine appearance, offer heaps of shade around the few...

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Daylesford area, lies a serene park that boasts of a rich historical heritage and a sprawling plantation.

The park offers abundant parking space for visitors to park their vehicles and explore the lush greenery around.

One of the highlights of this park is its observation tower which provides a breathtaking view of the surroundings.

You can also take a leisurely stroll around the park and discover the various historical monuments that dot the landscape.

The park is equipped with the public toilets and several picnic areas, making it an ideal destination for a day out with family...
