OK Sushi — Restaurant in Queensland

Used to be good option for sushi in Edge Hill. Lately there has always been problems when we go. Staff not wanting to be there and disinterested in serving you, then the staff trying to usher you out of the door because it's almost an hour to closing time and they want an early mark... Running out of staple ingredients for a Japanese restaurant (Salmon and Chicken) third time this has happened to us. Avoid going as a groups of five or more, it's impossible to get any meals to arrive together, and things will often get missed. Maybe we'll try again in a couple of months to see if there has been any change or maybe we'll have to go around the corner to the other...

I think a lot of these reviews are fake. Just got a chicken teriyaki bowel from there, I can barely eat it! Half of it was salad, and random salad too, just hiding the fact that there is hardly any chicken or rice! What little rice was there was so soaked with sauce it's not really edible, and it didn't taste like any teriyaki sauce I've ever had before. The raw salmon looked odd too. I'm no expert but I just don't see how people can call this place authentic! I've lived in Japan and worked it popular restaurants in Cairns. This is garbage! So disappointed,...

Ordered some tuna nigiri to share, the tuna was visually unappealing. It didn't look fresh and looked very dry and stringy. Despite the appearance, we both tried some and immediately noticed the extreme fishy taste that comes with unfresh fish. Definitely not the way "fresh" Tuna nirigi should taste. We did not finish it. We also ordered the karage chicken with rice and the sweet chili chicken with rice. The karage was nice, crispy and seasoned well.
