We’ve been coming to fish bowl Burleigh on a weekly basis for a few months. We used to have very good bowls here, but unfortunately nowadays it’s out of luck if you get a good one. My partner usually orders the OG salmon and you can barely find salmon there, many times it happened to be missing the sauce or it’s only has very little accompanied with dry rice. I usually make my own and many times I’ve got dry rice that could have easily broken a tooth. Its sad to say that it is lacking consistency and it’s actually dropping food quality and quantity. On top of that, every time I’ve been there lately there is no cups for tap water, therefore or either you go somewhere else to buy something to drink or you are stuck with those sodas, when there should be a tap water station available at all times. Another point to note, is the rudeness of some staff. In particular, a few times while I was dining in I realised that they don’t prepare Uber Eats orders until they don’t have all guests served. Therefore, drivers start to gather at the counter waiting for their orders (because they are marked as ready to pick up when they are actually not), and making them wait endless minutes. Tonight, I saw a driver waiting for the order while the restaurant was quite empty, I saw him waiting for at least 15min but he actually was there even before I got to the shop. One of the young guys gave him a bag with an order that wasn’t his, and the driver politely showed him what he was waiting for. The young rude attendant told him to cancel the order if he didn’t want to wait, even though the uber driver didn’t say a word. Afterwards, they called him off because he was bending on the counter, but poor guy was waiting long time while they were just talking and cleaning without making his order. I would not recommend you ordering from Uber to this shop, you will be...
Read moreAt around 11:30 on October 22nd, I placed an order for two miso salmon for pickup via Uber Eats. The app indicated that the food was ready for pickup, so I went to the store, but they hadn’t even started making it yet. There was no option in the app to select "no coriander" or to leave a comment for special requests, so I told the girl working there directly to exclude coriander. However, she ignored my request. I also called the store right after placing the order through the app to ask for no coriander, but the man who answered didn’t work there.
I could see from the counter that my food had coriander in it, so I asked the girl who handed me the food if it was really coriander-free, and it turned out it wasn’t. Even though I had asked for no coriander on both items, they only remade one of them. Additionally, the girl I spoke to earlier whispered to the girl handing me the food, saying, “Just give it to her as is.” Everyone’s attitude there was horrible and made me feel uncomfortable. Removing all the coriander myself was very difficult, and I could only eat about half of my food. If their attitude had been better, I would have forgiven the mistake.
No one apologized, and instead, they harshly told me to make special requests through the app next time. I explained that the app didn’t have such an option, but she rudely responded that other people were able to do it. I’ve been to this store several times, and the staff are always chatting in the back, rarely noticing customers. Of course, there are some friendly staff members, but most of them don’t seem to care about customer service. People like them shouldn’t be working in...
Read moreUnfortunately, the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had! (And it’s not the first time). I’ve ordered 4 bowls through Uber eats to have it at the beach with some friends, obviously I’ve asked them to send disposable cutlery, which they did not. It’s the third time this happens to me. I ask for the cutlery and they just ignore the request. All of the bowls came without the dressing, which means totally tasteless food! One of the bowls (mushroom) came with cucumber and red onion, which is not in the description! Terrible experience because I totally hate those two ingredients. Why would you add something that’s not part of the plate? People choose their food based on the description given by the establishment. In the salmon bowl, it was asked to take the onions out and again the request was ignored. To make it all worse, they don’t even have a phone number to be contacted and try to sort something out. What was meant to be a nice lunch at the beach became a...
