Timezone Shellharbour — Attraction in Illawarra

We got back from vaca, and I forgot to post this review!! It's been a more than a few months now. I'm so sorry. We originally were just going for the kid's party. But the adults come back later for our fun!! So we came in, and we're SO surprised what they did with the space! Everything seemed clean an so well organized! Made my little OCD heart happy. At first I was a little rocky. You see not all our people were there yet. And this really sweet boy Jake, said it would be best to wait to start our "party" till they all arrived. The kids would get 1hr of play time (that was part of the package deal) before we headed into the party room. I apologized about a million times. But he (Jake) was super sweet, and understanding. We killed some time walking around till everyone arrived. The kids absolutely loved it! Even the Husbands got into the competition spirit (i may or may not have won a few against my hubby)! The only down side, there were people around a dancing game? Not letting the children play at all. We didn't say anything. Just ushered the kids to other games. I regret not saying anything to the workers. But I'm not one to complain or get into confrontation over a game. I got the chance to chat with Jake a bit. He mentioned some good places in the area for us to visit while we were on vaca. Once we headed out, each place was so wonderful!!! But we enjoyed this one the most. If only because the staff were so warm and welcoming. Later us adults came back (a little tipsy). Played like kids for a couple hours. Sadly I didn't see that sweet boy again. So I'll thank him here! Thank you Jake!!! For treating us so well, and being wonderful. Not to mention just being amazing company. I truly hope this company knows what a wonderful worker...

I would like to thank Jessica in particular for being the most amazing party host. 5 stars for hospitality and service, cleanliness, and maintenance. We booked a joined party for our 7yr old son and 11yr old daughter and right from the start, everything was a breeze. The party rooms were modern and it was great to have our own mini kitchen, comfy chairs and air con! All the kids (and adults) had so much fun. Many adults mentioned they didn't realise that timezone at the square had the party rooms and commented how great they were. It was actually comfortable being there and we felt at our ease with our kids playing because our party host Jessica could be seen playing with the kids and keeping them entertained. Most of the adults joined in with the fun as well. Our experience today has inspired our guests to book their next party with Timezone Shellharbour. Do not miss the bumper cars! My friend and I have not laughed so hard in a long time. It was great to feel carefree and laugh.

The only suggestion (albeit not as much an inconvenience so as it take away from the experience) is a toilet, and hot coffee! I understand coffee could be a safety concern, so my suggestion is to have the option of adding expresso machines to the party rooms. I would have paid a small fee on top of the bday party for fresh coffee. And it was a pain walking so far away from the kids to use the toilet and meant missing out on more gameplay time than necessary.

I was at Timezone Shellharbour Square today 3/12 with my wife 2 grandchildren when the evacuation alarm sounded. We had located 1 grandchild when we were told to leave and the staff would find him when clearing the are. My grandson was not located by staff and my wife was refused reentry being told he was not in there. He subsequently came out of an enclosed game after the area was cleared. I approached the manager after we were allowed to renter and she informed he was hiding which was not true and denied any responsibility for leaving him in there until it was impressed on her that it was her responsibility to ensure everyone was out.
