A Little Fishy Healesville — Attraction in Melbourne

I went here yesterday for the first time after seeing reviews and having a recommendation by a friend. I was going to try the fish of the day but decided on the lunch pack-consisting of flake/potato cake/chip/coleslaw and tartare/lemon for $17.50. The service was great-really friendly & welcoming. The portions were large & I actually was only able to eat half-I wish I could have eaten all of it. The coleslaw & tartare were obviously house made & had a lovely creamy texture. The flake was super fresh and had a nice crunchy batter as did the potato cake. I would definitely recommend this little spot that has a nice sitting area on the path outside. Parking was easy across the road at the coles parking area and the wait time was probably less than 10 minutes for a party in your mouth pack! Oh my goodness. I’m not even sure how to describe how delicious this was, but I feel like I should start with the potato cakes. I don’t usually like them much, but these ones are out of this world! So thin and crispy! The fish was beautiful, a nice thick cut that just melts in your mouth. Batter is light and airy. We got the broccoli salad (because health) and it was delish. Generous portions of everything. Great service, not a long wait for our food, and very reasonable pricing given the quality. We’ll be regulars here for sure! Great...

We had the Singles Pack, Fried Dim Sims and a Fish Cake (shared between two).

The flake was juicy and perfectly cooked with a nice and crispy batter. Coleslaw was flavourful and fresh. The potato cake, chips, fried dim sims and fish cake were all tasty and well cooked. Tartare sauce was also lovely.

Great value for money being $26.88 in total.
