Careless + Thieves + Disrespectful service.
Despite the views and food, the service staff during the wedding were not only unhelpful/unaccommodating, but the wedding event ’planner’ barely helped as I had to do their job with organising tables and setup. They also changed my wedding event ‘planner’ twice when my wedding was coming up. So much staff turnover.
Not only that, but when my wedding started, they put the wishing well near the exit/entrance of the door where not only that is unsafe, but the ‘security guard’ they put was also useless as we rarely saw him and he didn’t introduce himself so we never knew who it was until the end because he wasn’t even dressed as a guard. We had to move the wishing well inside so people have proper visibility, something the event ‘planner’ failed at.
Even their staff stole my guest’s belongings when the guests were sending the bride and groom goodbye outside. My guests went back inside to collect their things but noticed the staff were already packing up and touching and moving my guest’s belongings. THIS IS HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL. I had to call and argue till they finally investigated through CCTV and realised that half the tables had stuff from the wedding missing from their staff (like name labels, table numbers and bonbonierre gifts and people’s belongings). They gave us a quarter of our table numbers and papers that they ‘found’. The venue even had our wedding cake when I told the planner beforehand to give us our cake after the wedding ends. As a wedding planner, I recently had the privilege of working with Carousel for one of our couples’ weddings, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The communication in the lead-up was seamless—Grace and her team were prompt, organised, and always available to respond with clarity and care.
