There is a thriving cross section of the community that is active in the area, from young adults to seniors and it really motivates you to take part. There is a designated 5km track that circuits the lake and park area surrounding it. It's very scenic and peaceful even during the peak hours.
The path is spacious enough to accommodate many people training, including cyclists. There are ample seating areas to take a load off it the workout gets too intense and the grass is well kept enough that sitting under the shade of a tree is an option too.
I recommend to go very early in the morning for the privacy and serenity to appreciate the beauty of the lake while training. There is really something special about the sunsets here too. It is a safe and very clean park for recreation suitable for all...
