Disgraceful experience â aggressive owner, terrible service, and awful food. If I could rate this no stars I would.
We came as a group of families to enjoy a meal together, but the experience was nothing short of appalling. When we politely asked to move some tables so we could sit together, the owner flat-out refused and became rude and dismissive telling us not to touch the table or move them.
Worse still, he started allocating where people should sit, even telling me my children had to sit on another table and my husband also. It was patronizing and completely inappropriate. We were customers â not schoolchildren needing orders barked at us.
Upon leaving I asked who the manager was to give feedback, passing it on to the owners daughter behind the register. I passed on constructive feedback pointing out the service we were given by the manger was rude and inappropriate with how he spoke to us when we wanted to move tables together and then separated my children and husband from the group. She advised me I was being rude and didnât like my hand gestures not apologising for the poor service. It was absolutely disgusting that she was not willing to take on any feedback! You should not work in hospitality!
After we left, things became truly unacceptable. The owner chased me down the street, yelling at me aggressively in front of my children, trying to intimidate me. As a woman, I felt deeply uncomfortable and threatened, this behaviour is low and discriminatory.
The food? Absolutely awful â overcooked, tasteless, and overpriced. But honestly, it was the complete lack of respect, warmth, and basic professionalism that made this one of the worst dining experiences...

We had one of the worst cafĂ© experiences ever at Armstrong Cafe. The place is completely useless to the communityâdefinitely not a welcoming spot to catch up with friends or family.
We came with a group of friends and family who had driven in from different areas to catch up. Naturally, we wanted to sit together, but we were told thereâs a strict âno table mergingâ policy. Seriously? In a cafĂ©? Isnât the whole point of going out to share time with people you care about? Instead, we were scattered across different tables and couldnât even talk to each other. Absolutely ridiculous. MAJOR RED FLAG.
And when we tried to give some polite, constructive feedback to the cashier, the ownerâan older blokeâcame over and attacked us verbally. Rude, arrogant, and downright hostile. Instead of listening, he made it clear he wasnât interested in customer experience at all. Not sure how someone so unfriendly is even in hospitality.
The coffee? Terrible. Honestly, instant coffee from a supermarket wouldâve been a massive improvement. The scrambled eggs? Overcooked, dry, and just sad on a plate.
To top it off, some of the staff looked like theyâd just rolled out of bedâno energy, no smiles, no customer service skills whatsoever. Not even the bare minimum of friendliness you expect when walking into a cafĂ©.
Highly recommend NOT buying anything here. Itâll just ruin your morning and leave a bad taste (literally and figuratively). So many better places nearbyâdo yourself a favor and go...
Read moreTalk about the titanic! We have been going to this cafe for a few years now and observed the absolute catastrophe it has become.
The food? Sub par rot with a side of absolute distain for their customers.
The owners and staff have seriously lost the plot - the absolute embarrassment of childish behaviour.
Imagine running a cafe without being able to receive feedback???? Then imagine no more!
I was genuinely shocked at their response- they decided to have children move to another table and the adults on the other! Then when we expressed how absolutely ridiculous that was well well - imagine a three year old chucking a tantrum in adult bodies!
From telling us we are rude - we donât like you etc I was a little tired of hearing about the owners and staff complaints and personal opinions.
To sum it up - itâs quite simple- if you canât handle feedback and choose to separate families then you have no business running a cafe. No one deserves this behaviour no one!
You need passion to stay in this business and your coffee reflects the lack of basic respect for humans, itâs bitter and needs a bloody good polish.
If you want to pay for a coffee, listen to the owner and staff complaining about customers then this is the place for you.
Spend your money at the bitter attitude coffee shop where all the good...
