the EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER
i was here last night watched Kyrgios-Seppi. they said i can put my stroller there untill the game is over. so after the game i came to collect my pram and belonging. and i got blocked by some staff and a rude manager that was being very unethical. i said "i need the pram because all my belongings and baby stuffs in there. i can wait if i have to as long as possible" the respond of the manager Craig Hopkins was very not proffesional. he said "you better go to the rod laver arena because you wont get your stroller back tonight!!!!! i am not discussing with you! i am the manager. and i said you better go home now because you wont get the stroller. things changed now!!!!" he was very rude and has no skill of a manager handling a customer complaint. NO Appologies, no explanation, no empathy, no good intention, no service, no nothing! i wonder how he can become a manager with that kind arrogan attitude??? my husband got very upset to see his reaction. he even threaten us to get security and police to kick us out the building. the security and the police officers were all with very calming and proffessional way explain to us nicely that we will get the stroller back, after they cleared the area. "there has been an incident, you will get your stroller in an hour max. no worries, just wait here.."
and i said to the police officer "finally, thank you...! that man (CRAIG HOPKINS) just told us to go home. meanwhile all my belongings and house keys in there! how is it possible we come home without the keys! my baby is crying now because she is hungry and dirty, all her food and stuffs in there! he can see how my baby get very frustrated and upset. and yet he is not say sorry at all and just want us to go home without our key! he want us to sleep on the street????!!!"
then the police said "i understand why you upset. but i tell you know everything is going to be ok, that man did not know what we know. you just relax and wait here to get all your belongings. no worries, i promise. everyone will be happy tonight, ok?" oh my GOD!!! i feel so relieved. after spent a very frustrating and emotional 15 minutes with the rude manager.
he must be ashamed to ordered the security and called police to kick us out, only to have them calmed us down and event help us to get our pram and stuffs back that night. there was other poor parents who gave up after got upset to the manager (CRAIG HOPKINS) and didnt get a very good response at all from the "manager" i am not a fussy person, i usually forgive and forget. but this time i had to speak out. as i dont want other people experience the same thing. its made me and my baby so upset. a very not nice experience that would be hard to forget. i do forgive the ''manager" now, but i really do hope he realised what he did or someone do something about this and make sure it wont happen again. such a great place with good staffs and game but NOT...

Read moreWhen problems arose at the Ghost concert, so did the employee's attitudes. Mistakes happen, delays are sometimes inevitable, and sometimes frustrations can grow. However, communication is key in moments like these and instead of sharing what they knew, they instead kept giving us vague times such as "in another ten minutes" or "at 6:30 we'll be ready to go". We weren't allowed in until about 8 pm where, once again, we were left with no information and people speculating about whether or not the opening act would be performing. A person was yelled at for purchasing a beer at their bar before going to the pit where... you could buy the exact same drink. She was yelled at and stood in front of her until she threw it away despite her being extremely compliant and willing to do as they said. Just a simple, "You can't take that in," without behaving aggressively would have sufficed. Plenty of people turned around to stare at the employee doing this as it made everyone in the immediate vicinity very uncomfortable. We were closed in a room for nearly two hours without any information. I believe someone was sharing information, but only to the very front of the line which didn't have a trickle-down effect as no one could hear what was being said. We had stern warnings not to film, but no real information on this either. We were all pretty nervous about even taking a picture because we were warned we would be removed from the arena if we took a video. Some information on whether we were allowed to take photos would have been nice - but since everyone else had their cameras out and were filming right in front of security, I'm guessing this was a non-issue. Some people were told to turn their phones off completely as they entered the front gates after bag check... which meant they had to turn them on immediately after they entered to get their tickets scanned. It was an interesting day, to say the least. I think some clarity and better communication could be worked on, as well as teaching staff not to be intimidating people if...
