The Market Place Mt Lawley IGA — Attraction in Mount Lawley

Went in on Tuesday evening to pick up a YouFoodz meal and only had a very small selection of 6 meals. I asked one of their staff when they were going to be receiving the next delivery and was told an order of 70 meals was expected on Saturday. When I went in on Saturday afternoon at 5:00pm I noticed there were only 15 or 16 (3 or 4 different options) meals all the same variety that were in the fridge on Tuesday night. When I asked the staff member where the 70 meals were I was told that they sell very well and that's all that they must have left. So what she was telling me was that they sold approx 50-55 YouFoodz meals since they received their delivery that same day. If that is the case and they sold those sort of quantities you would expect they would of ordered a lot more than 70 meals. What a load of rubbish.... will...

I've just come from there and realised that I bought two meat packs that are out of date. I knew they were marked down because they were close but when i got home i realised that today is the 8th the (use by date). Initially i liked the store despite the empty shelves, because it was not manic, however, I fumbled and dropped my cake as I stepped away from the cash register (2 steps) the container broke open and items fell on the floor. I left the cake behind because who wants to eat food off a public walkway? I didn't bother making a scene about the fact that good customer service would offer a replacement. I'm not sure if they are obligated under WA consumer laws but frankly - I won't bother going back. I just know that I'll be one of those that buys the milk when its close to...

This store is Supa pricy however has big variety of products. More often than not the advertised specials taken from their own catalogue located in store are not available. It appears to be a con job for unsuspecting customers, If management believes the affluence of Mount Lawley will be their saviour then they have it wrong. One is probably paying for the penalty rates earned by staff to operate business from 0600 until midnight. I have instructed my family to shop at the other IGA stores nearby that have advertised specials available all the time. Sooner it...
