Currently the site is occupied by the annual March's Amusement carnival which closes end of the month However the carnival will be at Coffs Harbour show 13-15th October 2023 I know these are carnival photos but the range of rides changes each year and like these flowers you'll find lovely people at the carnival. I revisited the markets and found STL a lot of interest but most prices are equal or more then shops eg Soft Drink in cans $3. Not sure if those organising are charging too much. Not enough customers? Or greed? A recent YouTube clip stated two people were complaining as breakfast cost them $50 for the two. I did have a lovely crepe for $8 for the basic sugar & lemon but that seemed the exception. The young lady serving was very friendly and efficient and was delighted to be paid cash rather than cards. The coffee sellers seemed few and far between and the one I found the young lady taking the money suffered from lack of animation. I would doubt she would know what that word means but it's common civil hospitality practice to give the customers a good experience not make them feel it's a donation to the business. The jumping castle at a flat fee of $10 also is too dear. I know he will come back Mate it's the high insurance costs. Well which is better 100 happy kids @$5 or 20 @$10!

On the historic jetty and foreshore at Coffs Harbour there’s a thriving weekly shopping event every Sunday, 08:00 till 13:00. This is a chance to support local growers, farmers and crafters at dozens of stalls selling fruit and vegetables, olive oil, macadamia nuts, cut flowers, fresh bread, handmade cosmetics, pottery, jewellery and a whole lot more. There’s fresh food to take away, whether you’re up for hamburgers, sweet treats, Thai or creative vegan cuisine, and every week you can check out live music, one-off activities and street performers.

A beautiful blue sky sunny Sunday was Easter Sunday 2023! We arrived around 11am and easily found a car spot across the road and walked up along North Wall Beach to the markets. We bought earrings made from upcycled spoons, local fresh veges, humourous handmade sign, beautiful leather goods, sweets, fresh baked gluten-free cookies, fresh cooked donut, delicious beef shawarma, fresh cooked spinach and feta gozleme, a freshly cooked galette and all washed down with refreshing minted lemonade. A perfect day to enjoy the harbourside! We'll be back!

It’s a lot of fun coming visiting this market. We bought ice cream and started walking around checking out what stalls there were. Maybe today there were less stalls than usual because it is Boxing Day. We then had Iraqi naan bread and Syrian chicken kebab. We also bought a big box of blueberries before we left. It was raining the previous day so sitting on the grass killed the pants. Hopefully they put more sitting area. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just need somewhere to sit down. There was plenty of parking available not far from the market.

Only on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm. Lot of stalls, some run by old people (I appreciate their enthusiasm to work even at this age), some unique products to buy, some shows put up by artists or performers but not many food stalls with vegetarians or vegans options. I would say it’s an okay spot to roam around, do some shopping and spend time provided the weather is not too hot. 🥵
