What a great place to surf. Today was 3-4' with 9s intervals. Mostly peaky right handers with a smattering of left's thrown in. Some barreling sections 🤙🤙. A broad mix of surfcraft in the lineup: mals, shortboards, bodyboards, and bodysurfers. Water temp is amazing this time of year (November).

Fantastic beach. Big, wild, beautiful. Great surf and even better sunsets. People all gather here from around 4pm for the sunsets so make sure you get in early for a great spot. Parking, toilets and restaurants are all very close by.

Bei nicht zu starkem Wellengang ein super Schnorchelspot, der vom Strand aus erreichbar ist. Bei größeren Wellen wird hingegen viel Sand aufgewirbelt und die Sicht ist eher schlecht. Ich habe dort eine riesige Grüne Meeresschildkröte gesehen und mich zunächst "etwas" erschrocken ob des gigantischen Kopfes. Ansonsten auch viele tolle Fische verschiedener Art und Größe. Wenn aber Wellengang ist, bricht dort eine schöne Welle zum Surfen.

Grab a snorkel and swim out to the wreck (but he careful haha) You will see some incredible wildlife and at the right time of year, if you're lucky, you can swim with a pod of dolphins as they come in to ride the waves. Get a set of snorkel gear, or better yet, BYO, and get out there. Morning snorks are great; very calm and chilled. We swam with huge schools of fish, snapper, turtles, heaps of carpet sharks and rays. Wonderful way to see the aquatic life in Byron...
