Hunter Valley Gardens Aqua Golf — Attraction in Pokolbin

We have been here twice now in a few weeks and have enjoyed our experience both times. It is always very busy but people come and go quite quickly depending how many buckets of balls they get but we've never had a problem finding a spare spot even if it's further down the path. Only a couple of the spots are undercover so that's been our only issue when it's been very warm and sunny in the rest of the area. Parking is fine and pricing is very reasonable. We find 3 buckets each is ideal if you're hitting them well and enjoying yourself. It's great that you get a prize if you get it in a net but it's good fun even when you don't. We accidentally found this hidden the last time we visited Hunter Valley Gardens. So this time we stayed the night after visiting the gardens for the Christmas lights and next day went to Aqua Golf. This is scenic and loads of fun for young and old. Prices are reasonable. We thought we will buy tickets for 2 buckets of aqua golf and ended up buying for 5. Due to rains the previous 2 nights, we did not opt for the putt putt golf. Very relaxed atmosphere. Pay for the bucket of golf balla at the counter, choose any lane and start playing. My friends and I stopped by for a hit when we were in the area and had great fun, as whacking things with a Golf club usually brings us great joy. We were able to get three balls in the net to win three $20 vouchers at the nearby Japanese and Thai restaurant, Oishii.

We went there for lunch afterwards and were told when we went to pay that they would only accept one voucher per bill. As they had grouped the entire table together on one bill, this was pretty frustrating.

Nothing negative to say about Aqua Golf Hunter Valley, except that they should make sure relevant terms and conditions are on the vouchers they hand...
