EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. HUGE SALT WATER POOL. GORGEOUS PATROLLED BEACH (FLAGS). Sit and Watch the huge boats go past. From the navy battleships to huge cargo ships. A massive channel is not far off the coast at Kings beach so its easy to get fairly close up shots of the boats as they pass in the channel. A safe enclosed seawater pool is also at kings beach. Super popular pool. Free. No cost. Just walk in the gate. Lots of Locals doing laps. Babies and parents in the shallows. Safe for all ages. Fresh seawater is pumped in continually. Whilst water in pool is continually pumped out so water is always fresh and clean. Walk along the rocky foreshore. Lots of discoveries to explore in the shallow rockpools. Or relax in the airconditioned surf club overlooking Kings Beach. Lovely views and great food from Kings Beach Surf club. Kings Beach is truly a hidden gem. I'd rate this place as one of the best places/ beaches ever. Easy parking. Lovely grassy parks along beachfront with lots of shady trees. Throw out a rug, get a good book and relax under Pandamus trees. Also has a Great kids water spout fun park (free). Kids love the spurting water. KINGS BEACH...

Best beach in South East QLD and only 1 hr north of Brisbane. Great for families. Heaps of amenities, cafes, parks, playgrounds, shops etc to keep you busy if you're not swimming. We'll groomed beach with awesome lifeguard service. (Always swim between the flags). Area for surfers south of flagged area and a swimming pool at the northern end. Park all day and grab a picnic, BBQ or buy food. Plenty to do for kids of all ages but the beach is the best attraction. If you're not keen on waves, Bulcock Beach or Golden Beach not far away. Intercostal boardwalk and pathway make it perfect for runners, walkers,...

Was not allowed to fish by the lifeguards with my little girl on our daddy daughter day out as it is a public beach / there were people swimming at the beach. Checked the signs leading onto the beach, nothing about no fishing. Pleaee see uploaded photo of where i was fishing, you would laugh as to the proximity of the people swimming. Probably about 50 - 60 metres away on each side. I decided to fish there so not to trouble anyone. I know that the lifeguards are doing their job and being vigilant about public safety, but come on guys. The lifeguard was almost embarrassed about...
