I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service provided by your staff during my recent visit to your establishment. I visited your bar with a group of friends on a quiet cold rainy day, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience due to the behavior of your staff in particular Kaia (if that’s how you spell her name).
Upon entering the bar, we were greeted with unfriendly and dismissive attitudes from Kaia. We attempted to order drinks, but our requests were met with impatience and rudeness. One of my friends asked a question about a drink on the menu, and the bartender responded in a condescending and dismissive tone, making us feel unwelcome. Again this was from none other than Kaia.
Throughout the afternoon, we noticed that Kaia seemed to be ignoring us and giving us subpar service compared to other patrons. We were polite and respectful throughout our time at the bar and cannot understand why we were treated in such a manner.
As customers, we expect to receive a certain level of service, especially when we are spending our hard-earned money at your establishment up to $1500 in a couple hours. Unfortunately, our experience at Kings Beach Bar fell short of our expectations and left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. Usually not one to write a complaint but feel as though it is warranted given the circumstance.
We sincerely hope that you will take our concerns seriously and address the behavior of Kaia. We believe that good customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business, and we would appreciate it if you could take steps to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and courtesy.

After more than 5 minutes… it still hadn’t arrived! I had almost finished my meal when 4th meal finally arrived! Why had I almost finished my meal? It was quite a small serving of scallop risotto. Not only was it small… it lacked flavour and there were 4 (FOUR) scallops sitting on top of the risotto like garnish! Menu said it had scallops,fennel, peas and Parmesan… I searched for the fennel… there were 2 very finely sliced fennel pieces and I couldn’t taste the Parmesan! Very disappointed. Mentioned it to a staff member and she acknowledged that the 4 small scallops didn’t look like much and I said the whole dish looked like an entree but it was a meal and was $36. The other 3 meals ordered were all cheaper and they had a lot more food on their plates! To be fair…they enjoyed their meals… but all offered to share some of theirs with me! The staff member said she would mention it to the chef. Did she? Who knows? We don’t! As she never returned to let us know what the chef said! In fact she avoided our table altogether after that! The burger was disgustingly greasy & didn’t finish it, what a huge disappointment. UPDATE So just let me start by saying after 30 years in my own business I’m the last person to say the customers always right. Not true. I posted the first ever one star review while sitting at the table after getting our meal. $81 for a burger ,Thai chicken and rice , a coffee and a can of coke. Now one of the waiters must have been paying more attention to the reviews coming in than the customers and thought he should give me a spray after we got up to leave. So here’s the best chance to help sort a very bad experience for a repeat customer ,but instead he decided to have a go at me . I would’ve thought you’d own up to a very very bad day and help sort out a solution but instead your smart arse employee thought that he’d take the low route and give me a spray .
