Main Beach at Noosa, is one of the very few beaches along Australia's eastern coastline that faces north, providing warm & calm water most of the year around. This beach is a great option for families that want to relax and stay out of the surf, as it has gentle waves and is patrolled by surf lifesavers! However, there is plenty of surf for the more adventurous, just a little further down the road! There is plenty to do, with restaurants a plenty along the foreshore and Hastings Street running parallel the whole length of the beach. But make no mistake, this is one of the busiest beaches in Queensland in the holiday period with visitors from all over the world flocking to enjoy all it has to offer!

This is also a great place to take a surf lesson if you're a beginner or maybe hire a scooter and cruise down to the Noosa Spit for an ice cream, a picnic or a sit! Main Beach at Noosa has predictable and moderate waves and provides safe swimming all year round.

Being only metres away from the famous Hastings Street shopping, accommodation, restaurants and bars.

At the end of Main Beach Noosa Heads is the rocky headlands that forms the centre-piece of Noosa National Park. Plenty of private bays give surfers something to do most of the year. There are facilities at the entrance to the National Park including a car park, telephones, toilets, showers, and an information area.First Point has a perfect longboard break and on a medium sized swell it's great for beginners. Further round the headland (Noosa Heads), you will come discover Tea Tree Bay and Granite Bay, local favourites! These smaller beaches provide good surfing in the...

Five stars for Noosa Heads Main Beach, where nature decided to show off and absolutely nailed it! The water is so crystal clear, I swear I made eye contact with a small fish that was probably judging me for my swimming technique. The sand is soft, clean, and just the right level of warm, like a gentle hug from Mother Earth.

Now, let’s talk about the tent situation. Picture this: a glorious beach day, the sun shining, waves crashing, and then—whoosh! Our tent decided it had enough of us and tried to make a break for it. If you’ve never sprinted down a beach after your runaway shelter, you’re missing out on a real cardio adventure.

But honestly, that’s all part of the charm. Noosa Heads Main Beach is a slice of paradise. It’s surprisingly quiet, perfect for lounging around and pretending you don’t have a single care in the world. Clean, peaceful, and with the bonus of friendly little fish to keep you company—it’s hard not to give this place anything less than five stars, even if your tent...
