This is the first time we'd tried staying in an apartment rather than just rooms and for the most part we'd book here again. It feels luxurious from the moment you walk in and the reed diffusers are a nice touch. We were within walking distance of where we needed to be, including lots of dining options, however having our own full kitchen to make a nice breakfast was nice. Having a washer and dryer to wash swimming costumes etc. was useful too. I absolutely loved the QR codes everywhere, including in our apartment, enabling us to order drinks, extra towels, or coffee from the neighbouring café right to wherever we were stood. The underground parking seemed quite limited, however I can't remember if there was an option to book in advance. The only issues were that the methods of accepted payment at this particular Adina weren't made clear on the website, the downlights in the shared rooms in the apartment had cobwebs, and the outdoor pool had a filter pump but no heating. Special shoutout to Juliana, who is very friendly and helpful.

I had a terrible experience at Adina Apartment Hotel. My partner and I got a room with broken air conditioning for the first two nights. We tried requesting a different room but they didn't let us—only a small fan was provided! 😡 We ended up falling ill for the rest of our stay in Sydney. I'm disappointed that my trip was affected because of this experience and there was no compensation from the hotel. Overall a terrible experience for the price paid! ❌ EDIT: Talked to the manager at the reception and she was incredibly inhospitable and insisted that the system was working eventhough we were operating the system in 2 different rooms the same way. We heard from another staff previously that the new tenants who moved into our old room also complained it wasn’t working so we know she was invalidating our experience. Horrible attitude from a service staff.

The rooms here are great, the service was excellent, the staff more than willing to help. My first night, I was only able to book the last available room, which is next to the Cafe, so early wake up, but the staff moved me the next night to another available room. Awesome 👌. The room are very well appointed, plenty of space, full size fridge, TV in the living room and bed room, and large bathrooms, not the normal pokey squishy boxes, I really appreciate the effort that was undertaken to design the units the way they have been. Short walk to the station, 20-30min train ride to Circular Quey. The Cafe on the corner does a nice coffee, Bacon and eggs. Overall pleasantly surprised. Would recommend, but book well ahead and get one of the upper rooms if you want a sleep in 😴
