Stayed here in q3 2022. Location is relatively walkable to Chinatown, not that near but abt a 15-20min walk. there's a small shopping mall 1 block away with a supermarket and some eateries and best thing was Anita's gelato there. Room was fine, clean and decent size except that the door and passageway was super narrow and u can barely squeeze your way in with luggage in tow.. Writing this review because of the bad experience with the service in housekeeping. The hotel provides only 2 small bottles of water in each room. One night my partner wanted to go to the gym, he called room service to ask for some more water and headed to the gym. I waited for 15 mins and no one came by. I decided to drop by Anita's quickly to grab a gelato as housekeeping could just leave the water in the room. When I returned I didn't see any water and thought they must have forgotten. Shortly after my partner returned and sat on the couch. I asked if he had received the water yet and he said of course not as he had just returned. So i called house keeping again. Within a few mins this guy appeared at the door empty handed. Then I asked him if we could have another 2 bottles of water. He said he had given us the water earlier. I was confused and said no we didn't get any. Then he pointed into the room looking annoyed and said " I gave it to him*. Just to make sure there was no miscom, I turned my back towards the couch area which was in the corner back of the room and asked loudly if he got the water and wrongly told me he didnt. And as the door was super heavy and the passageway super narrow I was unable to hold on to the door and the door shut. After clarifying that my partner didn't receive any water I went back to the door in a matter of a few secs and the guy was gone. Unbelievably rude. No idea who he gave the water to, but it could be some supernatural beings since it was the during the hungry ghost month and he was so adamant that he did. Super shocked at the staffs attitude and how he treated us as liars despite me telling him that we did not get any water. Anyhow, I called the reception again super upset and told them that they could either check their CCTV to see if we were lying or search our room to see if we were trying to con them of those bottles of water. The reception obviously tried to diffuse the situation by explaining about how they they were abt Sustainability and only provide 2 small bottles of water a day but still will on an exceptional basis send up more water. So unfortunately not able to rate them better.

If I could give this hotel 0/5 stars I would. Checked in to our room which was not the room I had booked online. Hotel admitted it was their fault and that they would “upgrade” us. Disgusted to enter our said upgraded room and there was dirty washing on the chair, room smelt rotten and the only “sorry” we received was a complimentary breakfast and a free drink. Additionally, clearly the COVID-19 protocols are WHS standards and overlooked at this property. I waited almost an hour for the hotel to find me a sufficient alternative so we could actually get ready for our event. I booked a KING SUITE as there was 3 of us staying, it was open plan and suited the occasion. When asked if the sofa bed would be made up before our return from our event to accomodate the 3 of us, I was met with “sorry our housekeepers are really busy, would it be ok if we just left the linen there and you did it?”……you’re kidding right? Can’t be too busy if they are unable to service a room correctly to begin with. If you like a sad breakfast with minimal variety, substandard options and stagnant customer service, then by all means you will be in for an absolute treat. Staff member on breakfast concierge was also on her phone between seating people which was completely unprofessional. I was very specific when booking that this was for my sister’s birthday and to be met with sour customer service and a dirty room amongst other disappointment, I would absolutely NOT recommend! As per the current Marriott promotion and marketing, “delight in the unexpected”….NO DELIGHT here at all.

Recent, modern hotel located near Central Station, close to UTS at walking distance to Paddy’s Market. The Starbucks next door is handy for coffee and internet connection. The Thai restaurant in front is an excellent address too for Thai food. Rooms, bathrooms were clean, beds and pillows comfortable (i.e. on the firm side). There were two free bottles of water on the counter. Mobile reception in the room is not great but usable. Hotel’s free WIFI is good. Rooms below level 5 can be noisy on a Saturday night. During the day noise levels in the room are very acceptable though. Staff helpful and friendly. Car park entrance is at #2 Central Park Avenue next to the hotel main entrance. Press the hotel button to at the gate to get in. Guests park at basement level B2, wait at the second gate at level B2 for it to lift before getting to the hotel car park. Cost is $45 per day per car. The lift goes from the basement to the ground floor where the reception is. It’s possible to use the Marriott app and as a member to use the mobile key in the app. Mobile key works fine to get into the rooms but struggles to be recognised in the lift. There’s a credit card surcharge.

My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney Central Park has been an excellent experience in this beautiful city. As a traveler, I loved staying at this stunning Marriott property and being recognized as a Bonvoy Member. The location is perfect, being very close to Central Station and Haymarket's light rail, yet avoiding the hustle and bustle of Sydney's CBD hotels. The Front Desk team truly shines with their kindness, quick responses, and exceptional service. I am very grateful for all their assistance. The morning breakfast was truly spectacular; the chefs and restaurant team are very kind, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. And don't be surprised if, upon check-in, the General Manager himself warmly welcomes you - it's evident that the entire hotel works as a cohesive team. This hotel embodies its core values of comfort, honest, uncomplicated. If I return to Sydney, I would definitely choose it again.

Four Points by Sheraton Sydney Central Park which does not reflect a 4star hotel. As an elite member, the front desk team here are so engaging, passionate towards their customers here you ensure their stay was comfortable unlike the same Bonvoy group at Darling Harbour. We are simple guests who love great service and here they reflected that through Yukist and Jessica. We are very appreciative of Jessie in sending a personal card in person of recognition of elite members and a bottle of wine. Nice touch. Rooms here are minimalist and modern design which is cozy and comfortable serving our needs. Hardware are very similar in all hotels and its the software in people that reflects the changes which makes you feel at home. The Management are so lucky to have Yurist and Jessica in the front team desk forever pleasant, helpful and displaying professionalism all round. Its going to be our favorite 2nd home.
