Aqua Luna Waterfront Dining — Attraction in Sydney

My husband and I just had our wedding at Aqua Luna on Saturday and all we can say is wow! We cannot fault Aqua Luna in the slightest. Everything was absolutely perfect. We have received non-stop compliments about the venue, service and the food.

The Team at Aqua Luna was outstanding. Anna, Pino and Michael went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect on the night and in the lead up to the day.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It backs onto the water and there were no obstructions in the room so everyone could see the wedding party and the view. The natural light beams in and adds to the beauty of the venue.

It has a large, well stocked bar with a lovely foyer area that the guests were able to mingle in beforehand and enjoy the canapes. The bathrooms were extremely tidy and clean as well.

The word ‘no’ is not in the Aqua Luna vocabulary! Everything we requested was accepted. The team was so incredibly flexible and allowed us to make slight adjustments to the menu for dietary requirements. The communication from Anna was incredible. She was extremely responsive and usually responded within the hour of our email. This made wedding planning so seamless and effortless as we felt reassured that our requests and questions were being heard. We couldn’t thank Anna enough for her organisational skills and hard work. The service and staff on the night of the wedding were amazing. They were professional, polite and perfect. They accommodated to last minute changes in regard to menus. The staff were extremely attentive, which made the night run smoothly. The table service for food and drinks was fantastic. Guests did not need to leave their seats until the formalities were over as staff were bringing drinks to them. The food is to die for. It is the best function/event food you could have. The night started with our two chosen canapes of arancini and prawn skewers grilled with virgin olive oil, garlic and lemon juice, which everyone loved!

The servings are extremely generous, well-presented and cooked to perfection. Our family and friends have repeatedly said that it was the best food that they have had at a wedding. When we had our food tasting a month earlier, it was an experience! We had tables by the windows, which created a calm and inviting atmosphere. We were served a full meal for each course. There was so much food! The food we tasted on this day was the same quality that we had on our wedding day. We honestly cannot thank or recommend Anna, Michael, Pino and the staff at Aqua Luna enough. Our day was honestly perfect. We will recommend the venue to anyone we know who is looking to host a function. We definitely hope to be able to enjoy the food and service at Aqua Luna in the near future.

Honestly, my partner and I were blown away by the overall A-Z services we had received from Aqua Luna on Saturday 3rd of August for our Wedding. We had a last minute wedding booking and in a very short notice time, the service we received from them seemed like it was planned for 12months in advance.

Every single thing we required they were able to help us with. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with all aspects of our Wedding Event.

Right from the original consult, through to the adjustments on the menu packages, table arrangements, seating charts, allowing access to suppliers for bump in earlier than usual. Dealing with delays to run sheet, technical AV issues they sorted on the night, etc etc, the list just goes on and on.... We also had some unique requests and requirements that they helped us with. Not to mention they were very assistive in the partial payments prior to the event and even allowed us to extend our party on the night with little notice.

When we first met with them and confirmed the event, we had a feeling we were going to be impressed, but the level of attention to detail they have is excellent. Their attitude is all solutions orientated with a strong focus on a high level of customer service.

Essentially they made us feel special, they had warm hospitality and really friendly, smart, swift service staff members.

Alomst every single guests complimented their food and food service. The food was scrumptious and very delicious and filling. My hat goes off to their head Chef and all their kitchen staff.

A big thank you to all their staff but in particular a massive thank you, to Martina. She is a fabulous Event Manager. We felt in safe hands with her the whole process and she event project managed our event on the day. Thanks Martina, you are fantastic at your job and very caring. Much appreciation.

WOW, WOW, WOW on the 21st May 2022 we had our wedding reception at this beautiful location. We looked at a number of reception centres until dad said please have a look at Aqua Luna. We were so glad that we had a look and choose Aqua Luna. From our first meeting with Anna it felt like I have known her for a very long time. Wedding preparations can be challenging and stressful, however throughout our contact with Anna it was an amazing adventure, nothing was an issue the communication was unbelievable and her responses to my emails or calls were always followed up. She assisted us to ensure that everything ran smoothly. WOW then it come crunch time and then we met Pino and Michael to go through the food tasting. Their eye to detail for food was amazing. The night of the food tasting itself was unbelievable, the food was fresh full of flavour which made it even more harder to choose our beautiful dishes for the wedding day. The food itself from the taste test to the wedding reception was restaurant quality. The amount of feedback we have received from our guest about the food and service we knew that we had chosen the right venue and were very happy we did. The number of wait staff to the guests was perfect and at no time were people waiting for food or drinks or looking for someone to refill their drinks. If your looking to get married or to have a function please knock yourselves out and go down and check out Aqua Luna. The team especially Pino, Michael and Anna will ensure your event is smooth sailing which takes a lot of pressure off you.
