THE WORST CUP OF MOCHA. THE MOCHA I NEVER HAD!!!!

Who would have ever imagined a cup of MOCHA would be TOO MUCH to ask and NOT A MOCHA at a cafe?!

I would liken my experience to Matilda when principal Trunchbull forced Matilda to eat the whole cake. Let me tell you exactly what transpired to get to this point of feeling so belittled.

My first cup of mocha was served. It was clearly curdled from the milk being off. I brought it to the server’s attention, upon which a second cup of mocha was made for me. It was clear that they used to same off milk and it couldn’t be consumed, so I kindly brought it to their attention. I was then confronted by the lady owner who said WHATS THE PROBLEM?! I made the second cup of mocha myself and YOU’RE STILL NOT HAPPY WITH IT?!! Talking down to me like I was the issue and cause of the problem. I tried to explain that the milk was off the first time and the second cup as it was sour. She then grabbed the cup and then came back to serve me the third attempt. She stood on top of me in the presence of customers and DEMANDED AND ORDERED ME TO DRINK THE MOCHA. It was clear that she let her ego, pride get in the way of delivering a good customer experience but rather turned to aggression. Please refer to the picture. THIS IS NOT A MOCHA. If it could be a cup of anything, maybe a hot chocolate, but NOT WHAT I PAID FOR.

This could of been easily resolved by a simple apology which was none, and actually making the mocha and not trying to go out of her way to make a point to belittle me in front of others. Furthermore, tables were dirty and floors rather sticky. I wouldn’t say this is CUSTOMER service at all as you wouldn't go out of your way a third time to leave a customer feeling this way. Very yummy food with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Prompt service on a Thursday morning (bonus point for that because we only have 3hrs free parking and i really don’t want to order fastfood to save time.

First of all i have to mention the amazing soy dressing for the tuna dish. It goes so well with the rest of the ingredients. However they overcooked the tuna and it was abit dry and tough (we asked for medium rare tuna and it came out welldone) but when we asked for another piece they did it very quickly.

The chicken on the other dish was absolutely perfect. Soft and juicy and flavourful! However the poached eggs are overcooked and tough as well. Generous portion with mostly salad so it won’t fill you up for that long.

Overall we were satisfied with the meal. Iced mocha was amazing. Will definitely come back...
