Just attended the 2019 Christmas Carols night (organised by Strathfield council I think) which was fantastic. Plenty of entertainment for the children from petting zoo, jumping castle, drawing station, face painting & more. There was food & ice cream for sale of course & they played a film towards the end of the night.. Ooops.. just realised this review is not so much about the park itself anymore.. So this is a beautiful large park, with two children's playgrounds to accommodate different age groups. Huge grass area for running around or having a picnic. Toilet facilities & parking (which is metered during the day). This is not a crowded park...

What a beautiful place. We walked from bicenntial park following the track, and reached this park: loved the track. It’s good for bicycle riders. Unfortunately I didn’t have a cycle so I walked. Loved the water alongside the park. Very good place for families, there is a kid play area which is quiet big with so many swings and jumping trampolines Must visit this place. It’s scenic and worth visiting. Don’t take your car, as the parking is not available...
