Love this park. Has great walkways. A convenient cafe situated on the hill near the lake in Bicentennial park. You can follow the paths through to wentworth point walk by the water, and right through olympic park then waterside again to The Armoury cafe. Probably a 3 to 4 hour walk mainly through parkland (except wentworth point where you follow the water until you cut through to parkland again). There is a kids playground in an open park area that is near the cafe. Lots of trees providing shade. Best to bring a picnic blanket for seating under the trees. The cafe has a bathroom. The education centre also has a large and clean bathroom and a water fountain. * there is an entry to the park from Concord West station (approx 3 min walk). And from Rhodes station you can walk in. * from North Strathfield station you walk into the park via Masons waterway/ canal. If you follow the path you'll end up walking under Homebush Bay and into the park.

Bicentennial Park is a diverse park whose natural setting makes it one of the most iconic attractions in Sydney. With more than 40 hectares of stunningly beautiful parklands and a host of natural features, it is little wonder why this is a must-see attraction. The park is located 16 kilometres from the central business district, and is conveniently on the shores of Homebush Bay. One of the most striking features about this park is that it is part and parcel of yet another popular destination in the city, the Sydney Olympic Park. As a natural heritage site which attracts visitors all year round, the park is an integral part of the region’s ecosystem.

I love this place and its amazing Saturdays and Sundays are fun with people around celebrating weekend and birthdays and lunches etc. The view is fantastic with trees, water, fountains lots of trails and even mangroves. I keep going to this place almost every weekend for Morning runs or walks and sometimes for evening stroll. Its just few minutes walk from Sydney Olympic Park train station and there are restaurants nearby. Also few minutes walk away is DFO homebush IKEA and Rhodes Shopping Center On week days its quite serene and there are not many people around If you want to have your me time and just want to read a book. This is the place.

Such a Beautiful park. Easy walking tracks which are wheelchair friendly. The lakes are really beautiful and the design of the park overall is wonderful. The lakes especially are stunning. The BBQ facilities with the chairs and tables are great with overhead covers to protect from the elements. There’s Waterview cafe for those that aren’t interested in bringing their own food. I didn’t eat there but it looked really nice. This park is definitely worth a visit. The only toilet facilities that I saw were at the cafe. There was a good little children’s playground area close to where we were sitting.

It’s amazing what can be done of wasteland - Sydney Olympic Park and more specifically the Bicentennial Park standing as evidence of the marvellous makeover. A sprawling park with acres and acres of well maintained parks, play areas and picnic spots. My family and I love to hire bikes and leisurely pedal around the park. There’s a well equipped play area for kids, as well as a oval for other sport. The Waterview Restaurant and Event Center is very popular in these parts. One can also quickly hop across the road to the Homebush DFO if you can manage to make it back for the 2P free parking.

This place is beautiful and spans a large area. There is lots of place for picnics or barbeques. There are places to eat and a play area for the kids. The lake gives it a peaceful tranquil feel like it's not even in the city (except the one or two hirises). Unfortunately though there is quite a bit of litter in the lake which disappointed me and the public restrooms are not the cleanest at all. That aside even though there is not a great deal of things to do, you would easily be able to spend the afternoon enjoying the outdoors, if the weather plays along.
