It's hard to believe that Bicentennial Park was once a rubbish dump and yet Lake Belvedere emerged out of this history. I love visiting this lake, especially at dusk, to see the waterbirds settling in for the evening. It's an amazing experience to sit still and listen to the insects and waterbirds, almost like an orchestra.
