A very nice lake with a lot of things to see and do. Barbecue areas located at the lake with a lot of areas to sit and enjoy a meal. There are some seats and seating areas around the lake too. There are some beautiful views of the lake with the buildings in the background. A lot of birds to see flying in and around the lake. A nice place to spend an hour or two and enjoy the lake and what it has to offer.

It's hard to believe that Bicentennial Park was once a rubbish dump and yet Lake Belvedere emerged out of this history. I love visiting this lake, especially at dusk, to see the waterbirds settling in for the evening. It's an amazing experience to sit still and listen to the insects and waterbirds, almost like an orchestra. Great place for families to watch the black swans that frequent this water refuge and the amazing eels that habitat in this lake. It's a wonderful setting for a relaxing...
