i had a really disappointing experience today. i ordered a matcha, and right after tapping my card i noticed a poster at the pick-up spot advertising the matcha smoothie. i asked if i could change it, and the staff member at the front immediately told me âno.â when i pointed to the poster and said it was the one i meant, he very rudely turned the sign around and repeated that just because itâs matcha doesnât mean itâs the same recipe and that they wouldnât remake it. at that point, the drink had barely been started â the powder was only just in the cup â so the response felt unnecessarily unhelpful and dismissive.
for a $9 drink, especially in a store that wasnât busy, i would expect much better customer service. mistakes happen and customers donât always know the ingredient list, but it shouldnât be met with attitude or hostility. i left upset, the drink itself was not enjoyable, and overall the interaction felt rude and...
