It’s not a long walking track like other trails in NSW, but it’s good. It is an urban nature park and walkway that serves as a water storage and frog habitat, located in the Bicentennial Park, in the Sydney Olympic Park, in western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Once a brick manufacturing site, the land was to be redeveloped as part of the site for the 2000 Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games, however the 1992 discovery of the then endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog (Litoria aurea) placed a hold on developments. The urban nature park and walkway was established in 2006. Loved it. You can read all about it on Wikipedia plus there are some information board on the ring. You can read the history from there.

I saw this on Secret Life of Urban Birds and had to visit. Well worth a visit. Good for bird watching. There were hundreds (if not thousands) of waterfowl below. The information signs along the ring sometimes produce a voice, which spooked me a couple of times (there was no other visitors when I visited). Though this walk is great, it's not very long. If you're after something a bit more substantial, check out the Water Bird Refuge just 15 min walk from the ring.

Interesting find in Sydney Olympic Park. Great walk or ride path. 550 metres in circumference and is 18.5 metres above the floor of the Brickpit. Brickpit Ring Walk design won the 2006 National Trust Heritage Award. Depending on the time of day, you can take some interesting photos as you venture on the brick pit walk. Gates to the Brickpit Ring Walk opens at sunrise and closes by sunset, so don't go on the walk too late in the afternoon.

This is a really great elevated walkway allowing a fantastic view of the water storage and let’s you observe the bird life. I saw some black swans which I definitely enjoyed and didn’t expect. Probably not good for people afraid of heights because as I said it is elevated. I went around the walkway twice both times I have been. I really enjoyed it and I think it’s well worth a visit. You can see the Easter show from the walkway.

Didn’t know it existed until watching ABC documentary- the secret lives of our urban birds. It is only 5 mins walk from the free Marjorie Jackson Pkwy Public Car Parking, nice spot to take a walk and enjoy the birdview down the pond or the skyline. May need to do some homework at figuring out the timing for seeing different bird species. The site also carries a piece of history of modern Australia, well worth the visit.
